We must be due unicorn status soon looking at that interesting article.
I feel Zvi feels undervalued in Israel probably through historical politics
Makes NASDAQ best place to get price appreciated as your Genmark article demonstrated

Wow
Imagine if a medical diagnostic company also had a minor interest in network security and 5g

Some week end reading before England try to lose to Italy ;-(

Heres an interesting link to a Bloomberg Article which gives you some idea as to what companies like BATM medical are valued at.
I have shares in GenMark which I mentioned as a "somewhat" comparison to BATM medical.
GenMark have revenue of @$170M are loss making and have a market cap of $1.6bn
Genmark specialize in infectious diseases employing multiplex molecular diagnostics.

This private company is rumoured to be under offer for the bargain of half a billion $

Selling started over on TASE and they are "closed" today and likely have shifted the back log ahead of the end of their week. There was no reason for the share price to slide with such a favourable update. It was a tree shake but good luck getting to the bottom of it!
The announcement on retaining the LSE listing looks like the suggestion of UK Shore Capital as I can see little point in BATM staying in the LSE now that Brexit has happened and every reason for them to move to NASDAQ.
I am no fan of Shore Capital but BATM have a long standing relationship with them and Zvi is or used to be on the board.......... so I have not made any recent comments about this brokerage as its BATM board decision to retain them.

Added comment: Remember ! In April 2000 BATM Advanced Communications acquired Telco Systems for $260.8 million in cash and 960,000 shares of BATM stock.[2] As a wholly owned subsidiary of BATM Advanced Communications, the company has access to over 400 engineers and scientists through BATM’s integrated research and development program between all its subsidiary companies. Since its founding in 1992, BATM has been involved in the design and manufacture of equipment for the telecommunications industry.

Headquartered in Mansfield, MA and Yokneam, Israel - Telco Systems has offices throughout the world including the United States, Germany, France, Singapore, and Australia.

Commited to FTSE index. Hard to see how they achieve that as Nasdaq listing makes sense, and Israeli university interests so TASE seems important. Confusing but still positive for company and remember official results in 10 days. They have been preempted but still should hit news flow and garner more interest as very positive.

"BATM is committed to maintaining its membership of the FTSE UK Index Series. As such, the Board of BATM, acknowledging the FTSE Russell rules in determining the nationality of an issuer, will investigate the available options for achieving this objective. BATM anticipates that this process will require 12 months". This Nationality Rule may just quicken the need for Batm to separate the two divisions and a listing on the NASDAQ can only be good news.

If they do list on Nasdaq, what happens to the London listing ? Does it run parallel or, if they close the London listing what happens to the London shares ? TIA

Its an interesting discussion, as cumnor points out very much the Americans cup of tea.
Aside from the medical side its Telco systems NFVTime and Cyber that really ought to be on NASDAQ they did talk about splitting up the companies albeit it retaining ownership. The American have really got the buzz with 5G and they are desperate to lead China on this. Telco systems already has clearance to bid on US infrastructure projects.

They could list Telco on NASDAQ easily within month.
BATM have over 1000 staff and growing the company is transitioning to a much larger concern as Marom has said in the last few interviews.

Listing on NASDAQ would pull in a huge volume of potential investors who do not want to be holding Stg based equities it opens up an extra variable with the currency.

The more I think about it probably just list BATM as a group then if they do split the companies later it would be straightforward..

Totally agree, its a tech stock and ideal for Nasdaq. The London market is a dead loss in valuing these kind of companies and UK pension funds have all but given up the ghost. Unless things change here from the regulatory/investment incentive I see no point in several companies listing here. BATM would probably treble over night were it to list right now. The yanks go for tech and medical stuff in a big way.

NASDAQ is the only sensible way to value BATM at a realistic price and I am sure that Zvi knows it.

Would not surprise me if they "eventually" switch from LSE to Nasdaq.
It did not make any sense cost/reward in the past but with the market cap growing and should they want to expand through any major acquisitions then this might be the way forward. No talk about this at the present but it has been looked at in previous years.
LSE was a prudent move with so much business and holdings in Europe when LSE was the gateway to Europe, now thats changed due to Brexit with Amsterdam apparently already commanding a higher volume, the LSE listing may become superfluous.

Telco systems growth and base in the US will also have to be taken into account as far as NASDAQ goes.
In any event it makes no difference to shareholders at least in the immediate future.

Added comment. In the last few months volumes on TASE have been closing in on London volumes. TASE trades only used to make up a fraction of trades in the past. Thats changed and these recent share price movements seem dictated to more by events and holders in Israel than the UK.
BATM really do not have any ties and limited business with the UK and when the gateway effect is lost whats the point? Not trying to tee anyone off here but any views on this ?
My conjecture would be to list on TASE and NASDAQ

Feb11th 2021. FWIW "The consensus among Wall Street analysts is that investors should "buy" BATM Advanced Communications stock. "
They trade as BTAVF on OTC mkts
