12/10/2023 15:01 | If the war/conflict escalates in Israel this will go even further south. | gbenson1
12/10/2023 14:54 | Surprised no one buying at this price today. | pojscott
12/10/2023 13:31 | Those who are smart will know that the price movement due to geopolitical issues just creates buying opportunities and will not have an affect on BATMs share price in the long run | bigjon1
11/10/2023 08:57 | Good post, thanks. | pojscott
10/10/2023 15:55 | >pojscott.... noticed you were involved/invested with DG19 looks as if they were hit hard in the same period that BATM share price has been trashed. There are a lot of completely oversold opportunities around especially in the small tech sector in areas that ought to be resilient. BATM share price has been lost from sight from the end of the pandemic and a whole host of unrelated concerns that have forced down the valuation to the levels that historically make no sense. This sector is badly in the doldrums and what will shake it back to life appears elusive. Still the value is there and they are making good progress. BATM is a complicated mix and currently out of favour. The 2 most valuable pieces of IP are only starting to contribute revenue. The company is receiving revenue from Carrier Ethernet solutions and hardware also with a platform that streamlines molecular testing for a range of pathogens. Added Link interview with Telco systems explaining Edge etc Adding to this further. The interview with Telco/Edgility marketing head Iris Finkelstein is well worth listening to. She confirms what we suspected that whilst Edge solutions are becoming deployed in much larger numbers the path has been difficult in terms of up take. She expects Edge to really gain traction this year against a backdrop of hesitancy and misunderstanding largely in the cohesion between Edge and Cloud operatives. Telco expect to see this all really take off with unending vertical market applications. Iris mentioned large retail as no brainers for adoption and did she suggest they are working with Target my guess as to what rhymes with magnet. One caveat with all of this is that revenue from Edge solutions is going to be considerable but whilst the technology is now in place deployment has lagged behind. Iris expects this year to be a pivotal year for the transition from POC's to actual usage. Had a bit of trouble finding this at first as Telco systems are presenting here under the name Edgility/Telco systems. Major conference. 10/10/2023 15:09 | A case of being patient, maybe this time next week the price will have increased. | pojscott
10/10/2023 14:04 | Ignore 'buys' vs 'sells', pojscott. That information is largely irrelevant and the cause of way too much confusion on these message boards generally. Just focus on the fact that we're seeing some volume and its around the 24p level, which is not bad. As for the price being 'down', the mid-price is actually UP a bit on yesterday's close, which is encouraging. Let's see where we close | echoridge
10/10/2023 14:03 | The shorters strategically place their sells to drop the share price, it's been going on for the last 18 months or more.. | gbenson1
10/10/2023 13:55 | More buying than selling but price going down? | pojscott
09/10/2023 16:03 | Decent volume on TASE closed up | resistance1
09/10/2023 13:44 | Just topped up, at this price worth a punt I think. | pojscott
09/10/2023 10:46 | I am sure there will be a very short term small price drop. Longer term it will lead to increased Israeli Govt spending on all matters security, especially cyber. | resistance1
09/10/2023 10:28 | Expected price drop this morning, despite reassurance from the company that finances will not be impacted | paulisi
08/10/2023 22:14 | From a geographic and financial point of view BATM main interests are outside of Israel. Telco systems in the US and medical in Italy. Cyber is as echo correctly points out even more in demand as there have been a spate of cyber attacks against Israel and elsewhere. Longer term its hard to say how this plays out at the moment Hamas appear to not have the support of anyone other than Iran and this could allow Israel the chance to remove them permanently from inside Israel without anyone objecting. | fse
07/10/2023 12:28 | For the record bigjohn, BATM is main board listed, not AIM, though I admit that it’s easy to forget that sometimes | echoridge
07/10/2023 11:48 | BATM's resilience, as evidenced by its outperformance compared to other AIM stocks, underscores its potential for growth and showcases how it is an attractive investment opportunity. When the macroeconomic environment improves, I believe BATM will be poised for a substantial leg higher as long as they continue to innovate and contracts continue to be announced. | bigjon1
05/10/2023 17:45 | Considering how low our volume has been lately, not a bad looking bargain got printed after the close: 1/4m at 26.65p. Nice to see the current price - though its way too low to begin with - confirmed on some ok turnover, especially as AIM and small caps generally have been particularly miserable lately. Never so happy to be main board listed. | echoridge
03/10/2023 16:59 | Lets hope you are correct | resistance1
03/10/2023 16:18 | The price is starting to driftWe could do with a contract announcement as we were told some were imminent.Although we still have some religious holidays, they are at the weekend, so I'd expect the Israelis will be back in the office and the lawyers signing off these contracts. | paulisi
02/10/2023 18:12 | From a couple of weeks ago interesting though as to the people and companies represented. Modern enterprise networks demand greater agility to support the growing number of remote employees and connected devices while meeting sustainability and TCO objectives. Virtual and software defined networks are leading this transformation enabling service providers with a powerful tool to meet dynamic enterprise customers’ needs. In this webinar, Telco Systems and Advantech will present a flexible network infrastructure solution that streamlines the delivery of virtualized networking and security services such as SD-WAN and Next Generation Firewall. The webinar will also feature CityFibre, UK’s largest open access, fibre only operator, who selected this open hybrid edge compute platform to efficiently deploy, manage, and operate hundreds of thousands of customer edge devices and a multitude of virtual services at scale across multiple sites, supporting throughput levels up to 10Gbps, from a central location. Telco Systems Edgility’s small footprint operating system is able to highly efficiently run multiple virtual services on CityFibre’s choice of Advantech low-power-consumptio Presenters: - Horst H. Katter, Sales Manager of EMEA CTO Office at Intel - Iris Finkelstein-Sagi, Chief Marketing Officer at Telco Systems - Charo Sanchez, Global Alliances Manager at Advantech - Brian Menezes, Network Architect at CityFibre | fse
29/9/2023 14:55 | Not much to add to any of this. It's cheaper for large corporations to overpay for IP rather than spend years in costly development that may or may not pan out. Also they probably do not have the staff or expertise to even attempt it. This leaves us all with an absurd situation that companies will pay enormous sums to avoid being shut out of the scene whilst other companies like BATM own extensive IP which the markets/investors cant value so unless they are as people say "on the radar" they get ignored. As a result the volumes traded are insignificant. | fse
29/9/2023 12:06 | Echoridge. Thanks for the ramping, much needed during this very quiet period. As to Celare being a target for this audience I'm not so sure as they are looking to grab subscription business bases. Celare, as currently operating and as you know, is a different proposition at the moment with just one very solid client generating 'substantial subscription income.' Until they launch the 'civil' encryption offering, stated for summer next year they wont be on the radar of these predators. They could however be an ideal fit for a major player to onboard class leading IP and diffuse to their existing customer base. | resistance1
29/9/2023 11:46 | BATM is poised for success with Utility Warehouse's recent partnership with CityFibre. As Utility Warehouse expands its customer base by a million, CityFibre's ultra-fast FTTP network gains prominence among businesses. With the groundwork laid, BATM's potential for additional revenue through edge solutions is evident. While challenges persist in rollout, the future promises productivity, making BATM a promising contender in the industry. | bigjon1 |
