08/1/2021 17:29 | Most countries now insist on a negative test before flying. Israel included.30 min accurate tests are the future, but I'm not sure how accurate these are. The UK lateral test is only 40-50% accurate.PCR tests take too long and are not suitable for airports. | paulisi
08/1/2021 17:07 | Frustrating to read in the news about requirements for passengers to have negative tests for returning residents before they are allowed to board the aircraft. Of interest if anyone remembers is that Marom highlighted this area specifically airports for installation of bench top analyzers which can be added to and return a 30 minute result. Given the already time wasting hiatus associated with everyday security this would be a real/expandable solution. In situ testing always made sense and its making a heck of a lot more sense today. When you consider the cost to the airlines, airport authority, and business travellers surely the implementation of these machines would save untold millions. Also why are they not being used for freight hauliers arriving to cross the channel. Half an hour to an hour wait to get the test result would be palatable to most. Its the old story you can lead the horse to water and then it farts in your face. | fse

08/1/2021 11:20 | TASE in ISRAEL does not open on FRIDAYS! | wizzkid211
08/1/2021 11:19 | It's almost normal nowadays to open up in Israel and the for the UK to lower the price and keep it there. It has has a good ride though on the updates of the various successes the group as a whole have had with some more to come methinks. ;) AIMHO. | james dean
08/1/2021 11:17 | Double posted. | james dean
08/1/2021 10:14 | Israel forced the price up at the open, but very little volumes in UK, so price is jumpy. | paulisi
08/1/2021 09:33 | Strange price movement this morning. On very low volume it jumped to 96 then down to 93 then up to 96 and down to just below 93. | car1pet

06/1/2021 19:04 | If not, BATM should delist TASE and list on NASDAQ. Given the markets are sweet on good healthcare, incl Covid, and tech stocks, both BATM's business models, the share price performance has been rather pedestrian of late. I know it's ZVI's style to concentrate on the business but I wonder if a younger, more dynamic CEO could be found to promote both? | cumnor
06/1/2021 18:50 | Israel to buy 100k kits for FAST detection coronavirus that can detect the British virus. Could it be BATM? | wizzkid211
05/1/2021 19:17 | FWIW I did not get the impression that it was a deal as such but that after running successful POC they were co operating on upgrading UCPE (white boxes) which are now being deployed. For any doubters !!! The above link is from ARM site on the Vodafone business. " Telco Systems platform complement’s the hardware efficiency by enabling a tightly integrated virtualization platform supporting a mix of containerized applications and NFV" Heres Telco systems version as it pertains to them. Finally an independent viewpoint detailing the significance of this alliance. The POC was completed. " Vodafone completed a Proof of Concept (POC) uCPE trial lead by Telco Systems and supported by partners Arm and NXP Semiconductor. " As far as I understand the Asian business is nothing to do with Vodafone/ARM/Telco. The Asian company are using an Intel platform and are deploying NVFTime on their UCPE NFVTime will run on Intel and ARM architecture and is apparently the only solution that will do so. This in turn means companies do not have to trash existing equipment and in many cases can integrate the new in with the old. It would have a considerably more cost effective outcome. | fse
05/1/2021 11:58 | They announced a POC with Vodafone and others after Vodafone released it and they announced a contract with a tier 1 customer based in Asia.We assume they are different, but are they? We have no feedback on the other 4 tier 1 customers who did POC testing. | paulisi
05/1/2021 07:12 | "as part of which a deal was signed with the giant Vodafone this year" ..... Haven't seen anywhere "A Deal" being signed with Vodafone. We know there was a POC completed successfully .... but haven't seen a deal as such. | rawdeal1
04/1/2021 16:03 | Heres a slightly better translation from Hebrew from Wizz post above. Good spot. Looks like he is in the running for another business award. Of interest to shareholders is the comment that they don't need the money at the moment although he does not rule out a float on NASDAQ probably split off Telco. I cant see any reason for listing the medical side as its an amalgamation of several divisions that operate autonomously albeit in related fields. BATM founder and CEO, Dr. Zvi Marom, who made headlines this year with the corona tests he developed, reveals in an interview with BizPortal's People of the Year project that the company does not rule out a spin-off on NASDAQ and warns: "We treat viruses and other pathogens as a matter of routine, and as soon as we saw the corona virus spread we began to develop a range of diagnostic components needed to deal with the epidemic" - describes Dr. Zvi Marom, co-founder and CEO of Batm + 0.07%, how the company identified in time A real opportunity that has largely led to a more than 100% increase in its share price this year.Marom is one of BizPortal's system choices in BizPortal's People of the Year project for 2020, in which surfers will vote this week. Watch the full interview: "We did not go to Nasdaq because we do not need money at the moment," Marom explains why the company is not applying for an IPO on Wall Street. "At the moment, our shareholders are satisfied. It may be that in the future, if we spin parts of the company, we will also go to Nasdaq, During the interview, Marom says that the business environment in Israel has improved, but claims that "at the same time as exits, we should try to build strong local companies. "Unfortunately, most of the large manufacturing companies in Israel are foreign-owned, and it is dangerous because tomorrow morning an unnamed president of a company may decide to move the company to another location." Marom also warns against the escape of productive activity from Israel. "There is a double problem: both the size of the Israeli market, which must be export-oriented, and the government, which does not place any emphasis on the manufacturing sector." Marom noted that the corona kits developed by BATM also identify the British corona mutation, and will be able to identify the South African one and other mutations that may emerge in the future through various adjustments. "You could say in retrospect that we are reaping the rewards of a job we started a decade ago," says Marom, according to which the field of infectious diseases will continue to grow since "the corona goes nowhere - with and without the vaccine." In addition, Marom refers to BATM activities in the field of networking and cyber, as part of which a deal was signed with the giant Vodafone this year and the company enjoyed an increase in demand for wide network traffic due to moving from work in some workplaces and multimedia consumption during closures. Alongside these, Marom recounts how he rolled into the field, about his enjoyment of being involved in the development processes at BATM, about the many historical books he reads at home, about the friends from the world of culture and literature and the hobbies he cultivates in his spare time. | fse
04/1/2021 12:33 | from today's interview with dr. marom Batam's founder and CEO, Dr. Zvi Marom, who made headlines this year with the corona tests she developed, reveals in an interview with BizPortal's People of the Year project that the company does not rule out a spin-off at Nasdaq. "We did not go to Nasdaq because we do not need money at the moment," Marom explains why the company is not applying for an IPO on Wall Street. "At the moment, our shareholders are satisfied. It may be that in the future, if we spin parts of society, we will also go to the Nasdaq, but the appearance of our existence is not recruitment. we are thinking of a NASDAQ spinoff only for the good of the company | wizzkid211
31/12/2020 17:11 | Usually we get a trading update in mid Jan with results about a month later. | paulisi
31/12/2020 16:22 | >hew.... NFV (Network functions vitualisation) was identified by Telco systems some years ago as a future standard for the industry. NFVTime is a sophisticated architecture employed in UCPE (Universal customer premise equipment) "white boxes" Telco systems NFVTime has the advantage of seamless architecture with both ARM and Intel platforms and the ability for scalability and introduction into existing networks. Often referred to as network orchestration. NFV is "now" considered an industry standard. 5G Networks will employ this standard so there is a lot to play for here. | fse
31/12/2020 12:05 | Wonder if news pended on a development from the below, from 17/8 Interims: “In addition, NFVTime is undergoing evaluation with several leading network operators and multi-service providers worldwide. These evaluations are at an advanced stage.” We have heard only of NFV incorporation in white goods AFAIK. | hew
31/12/2020 11:51 | Disappointing end to the year for BATM. No new order news and no announcement of divi. Lets hope 2021 is an improvement on 2020. Happy new year to everyone and stay at home tonight!!! | car1pet
31/12/2020 09:14 | Strange we haven't had a trading update for H2, just before year end..... as we had at end of June. Also still no mention of Dividend. | rawdeal1 |
