08/11/2018 15:31 | >miti.... well worth bringing this up as Telco systems worked with Nokia for some time and retained contacts even after the Nokia collapse. Apparently Telco systems continued advising Nokia for some time after, their relationship did not sour so to speak. Nokia Networks is not Nokia ..... its the networking arm and did not collapse like Nokia itself. In the last 4 years or so the companies have been mentioned together. "Telco Systems has been listed as one of 16 mobile backhaul routing companies in the field of software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) in a new research report by Heavy Reading entitled: The Future of Routing in 4G Mobile Backhaul Networks. Telco Systems is profiled alongside such prestigious industry giants such as Cisco, Ericsson, and Nokia Networks." I thought Nokia were a part of the open edge alliance but can not confirm that. It would not be surprising if the two still co operate on ventures but as to what level we just do not know. What is abundantly apparent is that technology and solutions that Telco systems is working on is now being taken up by providers. | ![]() fse

08/11/2018 12:14 | Am not sure if Batman still have any dealings with Nokia but a nice announcement from Nokia yesterday showing more 5g deployments on its way. 7 November 2018 Shanghai, China - Nokia has signed three separate frame agreements worth a combined value of more than EUR 2 billion with China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. Under the agreements, Nokia will deploy technologies and services to improve performance in fixed and mobile broadband networks across China to meet ever-growing demand as operators transition towards 5G. Demand for the internet, particularly on a mobile device, continues to rise in China, the world's most populous country. China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom are committed to delivering the highest quality service to their subscribers and will leverage products and services from across Nokia's end-to-end portfolio, through to the end of 2019, to enhance speed, reliability and capacity in their networks. Mike Wang, president of Nokia Shanghai Bell, said: "We are excited to continue our close collaboration with these important customers in China, to drive new levels of network performance as they transition toward 5G. Leveraging the breadth of our end-to-end network and services capabilities, we will work closely with China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom to deploy technologies that meet their specific business needs." Scope of the agreements Nokia will deliver technologies and expertise across China for China Mobile: radio access, core, passive optical networks, IP routing and optical transport, SDN, network management and professional services. Nokia will support China Telecom to improve country-wide 4G LTE coverage and hot spot capacity. Nokia will provide its end-to-end portfolio and solutions for China Telecom including FDD-LTE radio access, home CPE solutions, core routers, multi-service edge routers and optics as well as its services expertise. Both parties will also enhance 5G cooperation and accelerate China's 5G progress. Nokia will help China Unicom deploy technologies across the country including Nokia FDD-LTE radio access, Multi-access Edge Computing, virtualized IMS, SDN, IP routing and optical transport, and fixed network equipment. Working with Nokia, China Unicom aims to enhance network quality and capacity to grow its 4G LTE customer base, while researching and developing the expansion of IoT services and the evolution to 5G, including the use of artificial intelligence in networks. Nokia will provide its services expertise under the frame agreements, including network planning, implementation, systems integration, maintenance and performance optimization. | ![]() miti 1000

06/11/2018 17:01 | Lot going on here with BATM and its divisions. Just looking for a moment away from Telco Spekky posted a link to Ador the joint venture with Gamida that started up in 2015. Maybe someone on here that follows Biotechs could give us some feedback. This is looking like a seriously useful and marketable solution. Posting the link here again Celitron is also as I have mentioned earlier looking like a much larger operation than realised and appears to be getting very real traction in the market. For those of you who may be new to this thread one factor that cant be stressed enough and so far has not been picked up by the tip sheets is the development of the company's IP. BATM have developed all of this in house with no dilution to shareholders. Thats certainly something you don't usually see. Another facet to the greater operation is the emerging synergies between divisions. | ![]() fse

06/11/2018 10:16 | mrnumpty, thanks for your research and insight into this share it really was appreciated, you would of thought Spekky and Gerihatric would be happy for any research/articles to be shared on this bb, but for reason best known to themselves apparently not!! | ![]() gbenson1
06/11/2018 09:57 | Spekky and Gerihatric . Ref your comments , I shan't make any further such posts . Instead , if readers are sufficiently interested , the annual subscription for Small Company Share Watch ( SCSW ) is hardly expensive , being £ 159.50 for twelve issues per annum . I especially like the overview on the front page of world stock markets which , instead of comments in other investment magazines , is written in plain English , rather than in impenetrable jargon which only a minority of private investors can understand . Although I haven't carried out any detailed analysis , my impression is that the tips provided by SCSW are more successful than those in some other magazines . I tend to give special attention to the share holdings in the Growth Portfolio 3 which , although a virtual portfolio , appears to be the shares in which the author has the greatest confidence . Rather than obtain second-hand information from third parties on chat sites which , anyway , is delayed , take out a subscription to SCSW . I have no more to say on this matter other than " Good luck with all your investments " . | ![]() mrnumpty
05/11/2018 18:17 | @ FSE Your right,it's a bonus if we get tipped somewhere but, there is no substitute for doing your own digging....you have to be confident in your own assessments. @ mrnumpty.......perha | ![]() spekky
05/11/2018 17:27 | Look if people read and digested what has been unfolding on this thread they would not have to refer to tip sheets and could make their own minds up. Great that IC and SCSW have apparently tipped it .... but ! | ![]() fse
05/11/2018 16:08 | at the bottom of SCSW there is a statement that the content cannot be copied or transmitted in any form. Are mrnumpty and ADVFN leaving themselves exposed to the risk of legal action. For myself why bother subscribing if people simply put the content up on the internet and why bother publishing a newsletter if the world can receive the key content for free? | ![]() gerihatrick
