17/2/2011 11:45 | its a self-fulfilling prophecy. If all his followers are told something will go up 20% if they buy, they will buy, and the price goes up some degree, - there doesnt need to be any good news, the spike is created, and he's in at the bottom, out at the top, and totally risk free. Follow the herd by all means, but remember they will all leave the party as quickly as they arrived.. | snowman88
17/2/2011 11:45 | pathetic, just you wait till i tell dad about this thread. | binmandan
17/2/2011 11:42 | jab118 - so providing BMD is bullish on your share, you think he's a positive influence? binmandan - just a quick temperature check. It's good to get open feedback. Brasso3 - I sold out of SOU before the BMD post came out. Price is held up well considering. | ntd909
17/2/2011 11:39 | He ramped CAD as well, then I sold out he is the business..;-) | jab118
17/2/2011 11:35 | His tke on SOU was completly incorrect. The guy is a cowboy and should be reported to the FSA. He was ramping MXP this week as well and they had a duster today. | brasso3
17/2/2011 11:34 | well i think he's great so lay off him. | binmandan
17/2/2011 11:32 | thegreatgeraldo - it would appear it's the daytraders who benefit the most... | ntd909
17/2/2011 11:31 | So the general view seems to be he's a villain right now. Surely there are people who have benefited from his tips? Anyone? | ntd909
17/2/2011 11:29 | Just checked back, the Caza piece was on the 4th Feb. No news from the company that day. Just a 10/15 minute spike after the "tip". Nothing new in the piece & as I've mentioned, very misleading. Of course, if folk are going to play the game of leaping in on bmd's tips, they don't have time to do any research... | thegreatgeraldo
17/2/2011 11:27 | ntd909 Did I say he was? | argy2
17/2/2011 11:26 | TRP: in the build up to fundamentally important well results he catagorically announced that the well was a success, with commercial discovery etc, adding to the hysteria, and sending the share soaring whilst 'not being able to divulge' the actual information source. Day or two days later, Duster is announced, P&A, and a near 70% drop due to the over inflated build up. And don't anyone say DYOR, i was in the share from way back, of course there are risks, but a lot of people would have bought in last minute on his news 'before the market knows it' that the well had been a commercial success, when it was utter lies, and they lost 70%. Disgusting. | snowman88
17/2/2011 11:19 | thegreatgeraldo - I know what you mean about CAZA, however, it's the type of share where people sell on news. Any gains are very short lived. I witnessed the spike and retrace. It's now trading at 51p. ARGY2 - if that's the case, then what makes BMD any different? | ntd909
17/2/2011 11:15 | Biggest 'insider dealer' ahead of tips used to be Watson-Mitchell aka 'Dr Death' who seems to have been pensioned off in recent years. When he worked for T1ps group they tried to make him publish his own dealings but that was never updated and rumour was he traded in other names to avoid publishing...as if! Historically most tipsters have always bought ahead of their tips which is how Nigel Wray was alleged to have made his first million at Penny Share Guide and The Fleet Street Letter. | argy2
17/2/2011 11:12 | Has anyone kept tab on his/her "tips"? He/she did a very misleading piece, imvh, on Caza a bit over a week ago.... quick 10% spike as folk piled in & out, then back to normal. | thegreatgeraldo
17/2/2011 11:02 | If he's got no angle, why not post outside market hours? | thegreatgeraldo
17/2/2011 10:58 | this thread should be set up. He tipped MXP for his own benefit. Cant wait till his next tip... | johncraven
17/2/2011 10:53 | Cue the oldest cliche in the book! | farnesbarnes
17/2/2011 10:52 | Interesting... can you elaborate more snowman88? | ntd909
17/2/2011 10:50 | TRP. say no more. Charlatan, Fraudulent, Manipulator. | snowman88
17/2/2011 10:40 | I feel certain brokerman is also on these threads, probably under alliases, and he also has adherents who copy his views from his blog to the ADVFN threads. It would be good if ADVFN got a hand on his collar. This individual is not licenced by the FSA to give investment advice. It should be easy for the FSA to throw the book at him. I am not saying that tips from licenced tipsters are worth the paper they are printed on either. AS for me - life is too short to be really bothered about it. Fools and their money are often parted, when they subscribe to ( and then act on) so called advice. | hectorp
17/2/2011 10:36 | Well that's one opinion LT. | ntd909
17/2/2011 10:34 | I think you are wasting your time ntd. There are many "tipsters" out there. If you think the Market is straight then you are in the wrong industry. It is very much based on tips/rumours etc...... Remove this thread it is silly! Lt | looneytune |
