LONDON--Barclays PLC (BARC.LN) said on Wednesday it has sold its risk analytics and index solutions business to Bloomberg (BBG.XX) for 615 million pounds ($803.9 million).
The bank said the pretax gain it is going to get from this transaction is of GBP535 million.
Shares at 1405 GMT up 2.10 pence, or 1.3%, at 166.70 pence valuing the company at GBP28.16 billion.
