07/5/2010 15:50 | Another week survived, just. There has been much talk of the need for a correction in the general market and broadly I accept that. But 25% is enough surely? | grahamite2
07/5/2010 15:45 | Well, in for a penny, in for a pound. Bought a load at 284.9 just before close. You all realise thats the kiss of death now! Monday I'll either be grinning or I'll be a long term investor ( again!) At least barclays will always be here I suppose, unlike a couple of mining dogs I throw money at! Good weekend all :-) | bobp
07/5/2010 15:36 | Steady the ranks children. Where do you lot think this will be in 9 months? 400p or more. Easy Nil Desperadum then. And no more sniveling Prop | manuel labour

07/5/2010 14:53 | Its tempting to buy at 275p, but you'd be a braver man than I to do that. | warren g
07/5/2010 14:46 | Margin calls, hedgies blowing up no doubt, some big players must have been caught out with this swift move. Investors dumping everything, no one wants to hold over the weekend. I'll take a look on Monday to see how its all playing out. | ny boy
07/5/2010 14:24 | looks like P2 of the financial crisis - hope not | dilly4

07/5/2010 11:18 | My money is going into Lloyds, less international intervention and the potential to become a UK banking giant imo! | frequentbuyer
07/5/2010 11:10 | barclays is a good bet now in the banking sector...cons/lib dems will get together.they need to be decisive and take action quickly. brown is untenable and milliband too raw...mandelson will be saying 'gord, unlucky but you are not up to it please go back to scotland and do some charity work' but too late. this happens after every election in the most of europe anyway. there is a bottom and when it hits the bottom it starts to go back to the top. ecomony top of the agenda and barc is in as good as shape as any. | topper007
07/5/2010 10:58 | i agree they have their house in order...only path is up and beyond. Furthermore, BARC is well capitalised. | mgrimm |
