I don't think the bulk of the population will take any more lockdown - after 21st of June that is it.. Travel from India should have been stopped months ago..

Could Indian variant jeopardise Boris's unlocking plan? Strain is DOMINANT in four UK areas where cases have soared up to 93% in a week as minister warns of possible return to TIERS - but early study suggests AstraZeneca vaccine WILL block it

PRBSHARES: needs to move away from high 17Xp support but looks good as long as it does. Anther close call earlier this session. Play to 193.80 which has been Mission Impossible so far. I feel like I want it out of spite.

Inverted H&S (?, graph top right) might get us there (and decently beyond if validated) and BARC would need that to stop a rollover, 167p is now likely 162p imo.

In short: long is the play for now imo.

UK Economy Shrinks by 1.5% in First Quarter of 2021.

LONDON (Sputnik) – The UK's gross domestic product slumped by 1.5 percent from January to March 2021, a quarter when most of the country was under its third COVID-19 lockdown, the Office for National Statistics reported on Wednesday.

According to ONS, despite an increase in government consumption and improvement in the trade balance observed during that period, the reintroduction of coronavirus restrictions led to a decline in final household expenditures and business investment.

From Jack.."That's great news - our universities can then be used to educate Australians - I've often wondered why the Chinese come here when EVERYTHING in China is better - just another way to enter Australia and melt into the crowd - I wonder how many illegals living here entered that way" ..

Australia's $10billion education sector could be next on China's hit list in the ongoing trade war between nations

Experts are warning the Australian government the country's education sector - worth $10 billion annually - could be the next victim of China's trade war.
