For years people in places like LiverpoolManchesterSunderlandNewcastleSay we struggle to feed the children But they can pay out thousands to watch football They go to pubs smoke hols But still say we can not. Feed the children They are just selfish scum If going to matches is more important than the family don't have children

My concern is what will happen if businesses go bust and thousands of workers are unemployed? This could happen at every level of employment if the lockdown continues.

diku, I experienced this yesterday outside Morrisons, luckily it was a nice day. Inside the store the policy worked, lots of room and customers keeping to the social distancing, then to the checkout (one empty and waiting) overall it was a comfortable shop. Maybe a little could be learned for when normality returns, shopping could become a more enjoyable experience rather than the usual pushing and shoving in a packed store.

Long queues outside big supermarket store in a snake like formation...it can take upto 30 - 40 mins during daytime peak hours before entering store...won't be long before they start providing bottles of water outside in this heat...
