Boomer die off would (will) actually provide massive stimulus to the economy.

On the human level we might weep; on the macro economic level we would party hard.

-distribution of hoarded wealth (inheritance distributions)
-huge injection of liquidity into the housing market (dead boomer houses sold by family), in turn delivering affordability for younger generations who'd actually fill those empty houses with families, rather than just rotting away in the study and one master bedroom in some huge house
-relief for stretched pension funds

As I say on the macro economic level it's very hard to find something not to like.
