My dearest Primrose, you have proved my point with your own post. You are twisting the English Language to your own ends by suggesting that the words "recognised subscriber" translate to "more reliable".

Please tell me and the other posters where you found the precise words "more reliable" on the ADVFN site.

I am fascinated incidentally to learn that other posters can rely on my posts more than yours!

Click on the FSA link and read the notes. As for advfn it is on every single
bb page. UNCONFIRMED IDENTITY is less reliable than a blue name according to
your above post saywellxxx ?

"A Validated user is a recognised subscriber of ADVFN. The identity of an Unvalidated user is unconfirmed"

Note in Marketing - the word VALIDATED is BLUE.

Re 8 years ago on the up - that is clearly your level, but FSA rules changed
since then !

BARC now 75p !

Where is this bloodbath and crash back to 55p GUARANTEED by smelgy ? Loads
of people have sold Barclays shares this week since 58p having been partly
influenced by smelgys posts. Many even posted the same confirming they had
listened to smelgy and followed his ADVICES. They must be feeling fantastic
about ALL the MONEY which smelgy has SAVED them, selling at c60p when the
sp is now 75p.............

saywellxxx, some people like to use their registered status as though they have some authority and to have a snipe at those that are not.

Always do your own research is what l say and only listen to yourself.

Primrose: If this refers to my position here you're wrong...and that's documented both here and on Ken's previous thread.

I have held BARC since January. The recent dip to 50's (yes, gracefully, I admit smelgy was correct) brought me to within a couple of grand of turning red. I instead purchased a few more at a shade over 60p.

Good luck to you, obviously have a lot of time on your hands which speaks volumes imo.

You are now filtered.

Cheers all, OTU
