Looks like Boris will be another waste of time as he backtracks on immigration..I worry about if he becomes PM is his talk about amnesty for illegal's. They need rounding up and kicking out not rewarding..Immigration is what won this referendum.

"Immigration was NOT the reason people voted to leave, insists Boris: Brexit campaigner also heaps praise on George Osborne amid reports he could be offered post of Foreign Secretary"

Porty, are you saying the vote didn't go your way and you lost big? If so, that's just tough. That is democracy and whether your family members have died or not, we would never know. I just find it funny that all this has happened just now.

As for barcs. They will be ok Eu. Result thought we would lose ,But it as told us as a conservative we had no chance of getting A better deal in the eu via Cameron. He as proved he is a coward and is true colours of yellow ,I am disgusted with is being yellow skinned coward ,And will say this .with the result so close it not good for democracy , if the result is not at least 60percent it should not be legal binding we can not have a divided country ,But at this moment I have more serous things to thing about

Don't want to get into a debate but: my wifes paycheck clearly states 25hours per week, but regulary works from 7.30am until 6.30pm, 11 hours a day at school less half an hour for lunch. When she gets home she has marking, planning, smartboards to make, @ 3.5 hours per evening: thats 14 hours per day, at the weekend she has work to do assessing student teachers, writing up observations of those students. So my 65 hour week is approximate BUT probably an underestimation! As her husband i am sick and tired of those long hours, having her sitting next to me, then looking round to see that she has fallen asleep midmarking. As to the 'long' summer holidays, we spend a week and a half at the beginning of the six weeks clearing out the old classrooom and then about the same time setting out the classroom, labelling the new names on pegs, labelling up the new exercise books etc. I took the trouble of dividing her monthly pay by her hours worked....£9.82 per hour! She, hopefully, get a decent pension, but be in no fit state to enjoy it!!! As to our know three weeks holiday time in the summer, well, its at the most expensive time of the year, and, theres kids everywhere!!!!!

The FTSE100 in Sunday trading is currently 5952 BID v 5964 OFFER with the IG Index Spread Bet company. The FTSE100 is also 25 BID v 29 OFFER To finish above the FTSE100's Friday close of 6138.69

That is an anticipated par FTSE100 fall of around 180 points or around 2.9%
So it looks likely that Barclays, being in the (risky) banking sector will fall on Monday at the open.

So I'd guess 145p - 148p to open & probably recover a bit during the day. A traders dream I reckon. And of course very volatile with more mood swings than my wife.

Any 1 agree or disagree ?

surely it would have to get over 50% of the population to sign it because for sure the 48% who voted in would gladly do so, but we already knew 48% wanted to remain. Having even 10 million of the remain voters sign this would be worthless IMO. Signing this would mean little unless there was a clear indication that there had been a major change in the majority of opinion. Sure some have expressed regret, but if we hadn't left there would have been people blogging about how they wished they had voted leave. Everyone has doubts after a major decision.

As for a black Monday, people need to remember we have two years after invoking article 50 to vacate the EU, which might not be invoked for many months yet. Markets react to now, but we haven't left yet nor will we for over 2 years. Whatever will happen in terms of stock markets and housing etc.. will be gradual.

@bothdavis, either you are a teaching assistant or bad at maths. My partner is a school teacher and based on the amount of time she works, the amount of holiday time she gets, she is working roughly 34.8hrs a week where as when I worked, I was working roughly 41.8 hrs a week.
She earns a really good income and I don't decry her of the holiday because it comes in handy with the kids. But when teachers keep making out they are hard done by, it makes me sick. Teachers get a bloody good deal when it comes to pay, holiday and bonuses. I couldn't get anywhere near that kind of pension or holiday when I worked, let alone what my dad used to get by being self employed.
Yes, teachers do work hard, but so do a hell of a lot of other people so get over it.

P.s. This is based on roughly the amount of holiday teachers get a year compared to the private sector. Let alone the self employed who don't get paid if they don't work.
