04/5/2015 18:13 | "Might work, might not". I can get a recommendation like that for the 3:15 at Kempton Park. And cash received on Barclays. I'll continue to watch Baobab, being a masochist, but as far as this board and my investment here go, it's good night and good luck. I have a few Kefi but DYOR, as they say. | peetle

15/4/2015 07:18 | Shares will be non-tradeable if you've accepted the offer. It's more a bureaucratic thing for your broker than Redbird already having one hand on them. We should hear about the takeup soon. | peetle
14/4/2015 22:32 | You will get the cash within 14 days of the offer being declared wholy unconditional. I expect that it will be unconditional for acceptances but they still have to get government clearence in Mozanmbique. If that is the case the offer will remain open for another 14 days. | exbroker
14/4/2015 16:16 | Just checked my online account my shares are now showing as non tradeable so I can't sell them even if I want to. When are we likely to get the money anyone know? | kbrook
14/4/2015 14:22 | For anyone wondering whether leaving your shares in a delisted company may prove beneficial or not. I have received an offer of 42p a share in TRBO, which was delisted in 2013. My purchase price was 13p. Not bad considering I had wrote them off. I am still trying to decide whether to keep my shares in BAO, as these are obviously a different animal. It all depends on how the mining cycle goes compared to funding capabilities of Redbird. The mining cycle is possibly at the bottom, but it may be years or even decades before there is enough demand to make the resource look attractive. In the meantime anything could happen to Baobab, or Redbird. There is no way of telling IMO. It's a gamble. | venture traveller |
