PFD:

Has carried on setting up the flag pole today and looks to be near complete.
Next event will be the flag and as it is just under the 200dma at cerca 100p this looks to be a good place for it to set up.

Expect a small retrace/sideways trend very soon before the further advance to close in on 120p,180p and the 200p.....not all in a straight line ofcourse.

Over the next few days I will post a chart on PFD!

SXX update:
Looks like the retrace from the recent rally is done and with the MACD histogram about to go positive again I would suggest that next week will see the renewal of the rally and back on track to tackle cerca 37p in the long run,but first target to break through is cerca 25p.

I have just posted this on my other thread,but as it hits the criteria of this thread as well i thought I would paste it here also
MLC chart 26/10/12:

MLC has just had a nice bounce followed by a rally off near a historic support and resistence area of 376p.The support was tagged 3 times(triple bottom) before it rallied to a high of 517p where it has been in sideways trading since.
Early March it Golden crossed and has been hugging the 50/200dma closely.

The MACD is trending up and the RSI is at 60.A good place to kick start a rally.
This is exactly the kind of chart patterns I look for and love to trade.The share has already trickled through a resistence point at cerca 500p so it is all set up nicely for an advance to 620p or so on break out and the Q3 results on Friday could well be the catalyst for this to happen.Ofcourse I dont expect 620p to be reached then,but it will lay out its path to it,although not all in a straight line.

The above is all in my opinion and is no way meant as investment advise!

NOTE TO SELF:
just had a reminder how paranoid these boards are today.

I used to post on lse and I thought that was full of paroid posters that assumed that because you knew what you where talking about you must be a previous ID.

well it seems that it is no different here at ADVFN as in the short time I have been a member i have been accused by more then one poster of being a previous here.

For all you paranoid out there....Mr_BlueSky is my only ID,I have not posted on here before and I am here to share my charts and views.

there is a certain poster that seems to have an extra large ego and i think feels a little threatened by my knowledge.I wont mention his name.

he is also paranoid and thinks that I am a poster called mechanical trader.

Update: 24/10/12:

Seems to be playing out pretty well.
The second bull flag set up at pretty much exactly were I said it would at a high of cerca 80p .A prediction I made before the break out of the frist flag.

pure luck or great charting ?

MT: nice insight to you mate!

As we keep saying we need a new epic I originaly started a thread called BULLFLAGS&BOTTOMS first posted on the BGEO board as it was under used.

The reason why it is called that is because variations of double bottoms and bullflag formations are my favourite trades as they are the most successfull and generaly lead to the most gains.Just a thought and i think its quite catchy and it already has a few of my charts posted on it.

my favourite saying is simular to yours "never let pride take over and learn to take a small loss as small losses stop big ones"
