Just thought I would end today with a little tip.

Unless you like a gamble do not invest in AIM listed companies and certainly not for the long term investment.

If you cant make good money from trading FTSE 350 shares then you have no business trying to fathom out the AIM market unless its a pure gamble and the thrill of all or nothing punts.

There have been many "Rainbow chasers" looking for the "Get rich quick" share and more often then not they become the get broke quick.

If you must gamble then have two trading accounts.

One for 350 shares and one for thrill seeking AIM shares and just treat it as a betting account witn money that you can afford to lose. That way you can mentaly and physicaly seperate the two risks.

One last one before I go.This was from 21 Nov were I bought into FUTR at c17p.It is now at 18.5p and is within days of a strong break out IMHO so I will holdfor that....

FUTR:

just bought into this today as it looks to be setting up a nice bullflag and is on the verge of a break out with the MACD trying to cross up and the RSI at 60 plus.

I have probaly entered into this trade a little early as it is not yet confirmed, but I'm feeling risky with a target of 24p on break out(sp now cerca 17p)

Another of interest is this comment from Dec 3rd.ETI had rallied from 65p to 90p when i made the statement.4 trading days later it rose to 100p were it set up a bullflag as predicted and is now in its 9th day of bullflag.

ETI:

ETI is carrying on with its bull run!

Its coming up to a crucial point now so a break over c100p will put this back into serious recovery mode, but may well get some resistence there first and a bullflag setting up at around the 100p mark will be the sign to start thinking about an entry point if you are not already in for the ride IMHO.

just been looking back on my predictions and thought this one in particular was of interest.I stated,as below, that NTA was very close to a break out to c90p and 8 trading days later it did and actualy went further to just over 100p before a pull back to 92p....

ALERT!

NTA looking very close to breakout with the share price at 78.5p!

Next target c90p on breakout, but has way more potential then that in the longer term.

PDL:

Every now and then I like to get in early on a break out when there is no obvious bullish pattern and I have done it today with PDL.

110p is proving very hard to crack, but when it does I expect it to move up quickly.

MACD is sloping up and is over zero and with RSI at just over 60 it is well placed for a break out.

close today was 109.5p.

VGM:

This is the fourth time it has come in contact with c25p since late june and it is pretty much the low of 2009.

Can this be the point at which it turns around?

Still high risk though as it is trending down beneath a down trending 50 and 200dma which is falling knife territory!

ITV:

Has cleared a crucial point during its recent rally and that is to pop over the 100p mark last achieved in 2007.

This should now act as a solid base for future gains.

HSV:

Is looking more tempting, but not until it breaks through 260p.

a break through this and c350p will be the target.

Must wait for 260p to be broken before making your entry.

A while back I commented on RBS,LLOY and BARC all coming up to crucial points in their prices.

This week has seen all three pass these RBS's being 300p,LLOY's being 47p and ,most importantly,BARC at 260p as it has been very strong support many times in the past.

This all bodes very well for the longer term recovery of the banks and I think for the first time for along time they are once more being considered for the buy and hold investor rather then just the traders.

what we need now is news on divi's like a re commencement date and they will really kick into action IMHO.

Another comment I made was on PFD setting up a bullflag at c100p as the post below from 29th Oct shows.A bullflag did set up with a high of 110p and a low in the upper 80's and now it looks to be breaking out for a short/medium target of c180p.......

P.S: I never did post that chart!

PFD:

Has carried on setting up the flag pole today and looks to be near complete.
Next event will be the flag and as it is just under the 200dma at cerca 100p this looks to be a good place for it to set up.

Expect a small retrace/sideways trend very soon before the further advance to close in on 120p,180p and the 200p.....not all in a straight line ofcourse.

Over the next few days I will post a chart on PFD!

Is reaching out for the fabled 6000!

Break through or bounce down?

I know which one I am going for as I am a bull by nature.

As DXNS is reaching for 30p I thought I would repost these comments and chart from 12th November......So far so good with my prediction and note the price action cerca 30p for the next Bullflag to set up.....

I have just posted this on another thread, but as it meets the criteria of this thread I thought i would post it here also:

DXNS chart 23/11/12:

This chart shows that DXNS broke out in an event flag recently.

Not so much on its own merit, but the misfortune of Comet, its main rival or was should I say.

Note that when the event flag pole formed there was an increase in volume and when the flag formed the volume fell off. This is a classic example in bull flag formation.

Also note that in the last 3 trading days that the volume has picked up a bit and with the MACD having just crossed over we could well see a resumption of the rally.

The crucial point is to break through 26p which we are right on now with the next target of cerca 30p where another bullflag may set up.

Thursday DXNS are reporting Finals so lets see if the next leg of the rally can be founded on their own merit.

LLOY:

for anyone that is a chart sceptic and believes that lines of support and resistence are just lines, then LLOY is living proof that they have a meaning and should not be ignored.

LLOY has been stuck under 47p since mid November.A break through has seen a nice move up and now is well on its way to close in on the gap fill in the mid to upper 50's.......not all in a straight line ofcourse.

I posted this just before it broke out yesterday and it did indeed go to 200p and a bit beyond as predicted. That was the event flag break out,but now it could well be setting up a high and tight flag so a period of consolidation can be expected very soon......

I have spoken about PTO before on here!

It now seems to be in an event flag and a break out could easily take it to c200p as a first target.

thecynical1,
very long term support seems to be between 16 and 30 but a cross above 40 at the moment could alter the balance (no advice intended).

PGD:

Is on the march!

It was in an ascending bull flag formation a while ago,but it failed as a placing was announced and destroyed the bullish pattern.

It still needs to get back over 30p for me to be convinced it is not just a bear trap.

NEWS FLASH!

LLOY has broken through the long awaited 47p barrier today

Just has to hold onto it to close the week above it for a strong sign that the upper 50's/low 60's are to be closed in on.

At cerca 14p today is the sell off done or is it a bear flag and could drop back to c11p??
