27/4/2017 12:50 | I trade on TA and money management disciplines so why would I make comment on fundamentals it's not my area of expertise. But for you to have no acknowledgement of TA and how powerful it is says a lot to me about your character. I don't expect everyone to use it as there is more ways than one to skin a cat but to rubbish it is pure nonsense. What do you want me to say about fundamentals they are rubbish? Well I won't fundamentals drive the market and particular stocks that is plainly obvious, however for me using TA I can pick up on fundamental drivers and shift changes amongst other things. Now how's that for true opinion mindeness. As for checking investopedia lol how basic a comment is that. Just stick to what you do and stop rubbishing TA that was my only point. Open mind in life is the way to go and from reading your comments imo I don't think you have one. And lastly chill man it's just a trade, sorry investment. | bigdazzler
27/4/2017 12:27 | Don't get so emotional Simon it's a poor trait in investing. It's like you take it all personal it's a stock not a member of family. Remember emotionless trading or if you like to call it investing, emotionless investing. | bigdazzler
27/4/2017 12:15 | Well is there any reason for the MNO to tell anyone it's Bango providing the service? To their customers, all that matters is that the carrier now offers DCB. The VIVA announcement may well be one of the last of its kind, and perhaps they received feedback from that regarding overuse of RNS. I suspect they had a comms consultant telling them off. SP ticking back up nicely today. TA folks - if your charts told you it was coming down, why is it now going back up already? And when it ticks down again in the next few days, will you once again claim 'the charts' did it? Once again, small free float of shares, needle moves fast with small trades. Since many amateur investors use this forum, it's important to point out incidents like this to prevent more of them falling for TA scams and ending up losing money. Again, 80% of people lose money with spreadbetting and CFD's. Approach with caution - there is no substitute for properly researching a company before investing. | simonsaid1
27/4/2017 12:13 | VIP the next BGO | johnma
27/4/2017 11:52 | Thanks for your efforts As I said I gave up sending them emails after receiving similar reply's. Frustration being if this was truly the companies strategy what was the key milestone reached with VIVA Bahrain with a subscriber base of lees than half a million that warranted a news announcement (albeit not a RNS) especially in that this was not the first migration. Also its clear that its not MS who have implemented the strategy of no announcements so its either Bango or the MNO and I see no reason for the MNO to withhold announcements as its surely in their interest to inform their subscribers. | lentjes
27/4/2017 11:43 | Thanks for info. | amt
27/4/2017 10:14 | I received a reply from Bango's CFO, no new info though: 'Dear Simon Thank you for your recent request to the Bango Investor. As we have previously stated, we won’t be releasing announcements on individual activations any more, but we will from time to time release joint announcements with our partners, when key milestones are reached. The Bango website hxxp://bango.com/ and Bango investor website hxxps://bangoinvesto Kind regards Rachel Rachel Elias-Jones, CFO, Bango' If this Telus Canada DCB launch wasn't a Bango activation, she could have simply said it, so this may be a more instructive answer than it appears. | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 22:45 | Lol, someone has been through my posts systematically downvoting each one. This is how sensitive people get when you question their mystical number games. | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 22:24 | Thanks simonsaid | deuchar
26/4/2017 17:38 | Yeah some serious people here. Not just idiots. Interested in the response too. | acefromspace
26/4/2017 17:27 | Deuchar - if you'd like to do some research to help you decide when to buy, here are some links. Bear in mind that the company has had some fairly fundamental changes over the last few years, so historic charts are not particularly helpful in assessing the company as it exists today: Bango investor portal (contains all RNS and presentations): hxxps://bangoinvesto Bango investor presentation from February 'strategy day': hxxps://bangoinvesto Proactive investor coverage: hxxp://www.proactive Simon Thompson's most recent column covering Bango, with financials analysed and 200p target: | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 17:12 | Thank you Simonsaid I originally said it might fall to a £ and I might be completely wrong | deuchar
26/4/2017 17:01 | deuchar, apologies for being rude, but there are a lot of chartists descending on this stock lately, who don't understand it and just spread pointless negative sentiment that has no relation to the company - because they have done no research other than stare at charts. If you're waiting for the stock to fall to 80p, you'll just miss the train completely. Even with a free float as small as this, that would be an extraordinary retrace, since the rerating that got it where it is today was actual news and results. You're really hoping for bad news for the company to drag it down, but if you spend any time researching the company you'll see why it would be very difficult for that to happen. I cannot stress enough that using TA principles on tiny, volatile AIM growth stocks tipped by some of the top analysts in the industry is simply not an appropriate strategy. | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 16:56 | As Noirgold nicely put it on LSE: 'Bango is a screaming buy and hold. Remember, volitility and risk are two different things. Look at the fundamentals and it's obvious. EUS due to grow at least 100%. 220 deals in the pipeline. Operationally geared. No debt. Net cash. Low credit card penetration in China, India, Africa offering Bango huge future growth potential. 15 month price target of £2 by IC. And, this is just the start. Once profitability is achieved maybe a dividend? Or further expansion? Bango can process up to $2billion of payments without any change in costs. Potentially, this is a cash machine to long-term holders with a modicum of patience.' Much of this references things which you won't understand if you're not used to the DCB world and Bango as a company. But that's your fault. Now, counter this with actual information and we'll talk. Rabbit on about 'chart support' and you're getting filtered. | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 16:53 | No not doomed just biding my time so much emotion and rudeness reminds me of the Labour Party | deuchar
26/4/2017 16:47 | Lol, chartists talking about 'support levels' for an AIM traded growth stock. That is properly hilarious. Do you not see what is fundamentally wrong with that concept? If not then... just lol. I guess the actual business plan is an irrelevance to those who can read the tealeaves, ditto the stellar figures, constant flow of new contracts and recommendation of Simon Thompson and a smattering of other AIM analysts. And you completely ignore the effects of a small free-float of shares, as has been explained to you time and time again. But no, 'the charts' say it's worth 80p, so this vibrant growth company must be doomed. Right. You don't care about anything to do with the actual company. This is a perfect example of why most people lose money using TA (see the hilarious stats for spreadbetting). The few occasions where they guess right are 'proof', and when they're wrong it's 'deviation/exception Yes, genius, I have indeed bought more in the recent dips, though the majority of my holding was bought in the pre-£1 days. Amt - thank you mate, I forgot the filter feature was here. Would rather not unsub and miss Lentjes and others valuable posts. | simonsaid1
26/4/2017 16:23 | chart support sub 100p, 80p ish | rubberbullets
26/4/2017 16:15 | Time to buy Simonsaid? You are the main man. | deuchar
26/4/2017 15:49 | Simonsaid its easy to filter people when you dont want to read twaddle. I would love to know what reply you got from Bango team. Thanks in advance. | amt
26/4/2017 14:39 | Yes you have clearly paid far too much for those magic beans simonsaid. Now who told you about another forum being for serious investors. Let me guess the tooth fairy. | bigdazzler
26/4/2017 14:33 | Big dazzler - snappy response and all, but quite how you think anybody with shares in a thriving, profitable company has been 'done over' is beyond me. I take that back - you've likely got a short position and are trying to cheat by biasing sentiment. I don't need to go through the vast evidence for this share's continued success, and as I think you're trolling there's really no point. As usual, LSE is the forum for serious investors, and ADVFN is the home for trolls and shorters. And 'rubberbullets' has been posting the same comment repeatedly, as he/she clearly believes Bango is some sort of p2p money sending service. It isn't. You're an idiot. To anyone sane reading this: Look at the chart for yourself - small buys and sells cause large price movements, because there are very few shares in private issue. The overall trend is up, and the company is profitable and free of debt. Ignore the noise on here and stick to the LSE forum. I am unsubscribing from this thread, once again an ADVFN thread ruined by idiots. Lentjes, please consider posting to LSE too, it's a much more productive environment and trolls are generally dealt with by admin. | simonsaid1 |
