28/4/2017 11:33 | It looks like the wave e target range will be met. 1420 -> 1433 is expected, assuming 1350 R is taken out. Then the chart is likely to turn very bearish for 12 months, before the next upleg in the bull. | random
28/4/2017 02:10 | spuds - BTC scaling is all about the BTX fork init? the fannys cant decide if it should be BT or BTX? Doesnt it make more sense to use BTX or am i missing something? | tpaulbeaumont
28/4/2017 01:59 | If BTC scaling and ETF are sorted altcoins will tank, if scaling remains an issue eventually Bitcoin will tank. all IMO | spadman
27/4/2017 20:47 | xmr/btc back up to the critical 0.16 SR as well ... looking stronger now. | random

27/4/2017 11:37 | ETH because of its contract feature has establishment funding. more of a functional coin then a monetary one imo. not sure if the boys who created it wanted it at 60 bucks not sure people are going to use it for what it was intended. decent call on 1315 ... so far. | mcbeanburger
27/4/2017 10:27 | looking at exit strategies with my friend. bid at these levels is looking pretty thin. | random
27/4/2017 10:07 | btc homing in to spike resistance @ 1350. Eyeballing the rising wedge gives a (b)e target around 1443. | random
27/4/2017 04:43 | tpaulbeaumont - 11 Mar 2017 - 04:44:49 - 2170 of 2248 1315 was next natural resistance and the $350 regression completely natural, next up is the year of Eriks birth, 1885 ;) fwiw thereafter is 2025, 3050, 3200, 4200 and 5100 for good measure ;) unfortunately +/- 1%ish can any of the forum explain what the main differences are in BTC and ETH? ETH has investment from establishments, doesnt that go against the security/privacy MO? It also has the auto-contracts feature, but didnt that snap!? | tpaulbeaumont
26/4/2017 21:06 | she has 3 year trading experience on it, with a top rep. illiquid as hell, but the premium is very tasty. | random

26/4/2017 19:59 | random, out of interest which exchanges is your trader friend arbing? is she experiencing any prolems? i.e the withdrawal of fiat to her bank account and so on? i was looking into the logistics of arbing bitstamp to bitfinex but the problem is the withdrawal of fiat from bitfinex has been halted. | northern1
26/4/2017 17:29 | through 1300 bucks like a hot knife through butter. | mcbeanburger
26/4/2017 13:30 | its pushing up random but euro and btc pairs not getting with the programme. still in profit so will continue to hold. still like 110 bucks this run and longer term 400 bucks! | mcbeanburger

25/4/2017 19:43 | i see the ETF is now back on the cards... may 17th I think is the date. i'll see if I can find the piece to confirm | mcbeanburger
25/4/2017 17:04 | Northern1, say you are wanting long profits, then you buy on the cheaper exchange, transfer the coin and sell on the more expensive one. That leaves cash, which needs to be transferred back to the cheaper exchange. There are trading costs to take account of. If the differential fluctuates, it can be possible to do the same by going long on one exchange, short on the other. When the differential is fairly constant, only the former method works. There are liquidity issues as well ... the more expensive exchanges will be less liquid. | random
25/4/2017 16:24 | random22 Apr '17 - 14:17 - 2229 of 2237 correct to have the choice she's a she ;-) Fully vested in btc, waiting for a selling opportunity to short term trade into, arbing the exchanges to boost the returns. She's super bullish on btc, so I temper that a bit. -------------------- random, How would one go about arbing the exchanges? If you can offer any practical advice, that would be much appreciated. I see there are some significant price differentials on the exchanges at the moment. I hold btc via bitstamp where the price currently is 1270 ish. However, I note that bitfinex price is currently 1360 ish. | northern1
24/4/2017 16:14 | against euro and btc it is bid. needs to push on here and crack out of this range. we'll see. | mcbeanburger
24/4/2017 15:20 | Yep, zec/usd looking strong, with a retest of highs on the cards very soon. xmr slowly pulling back to 0.016 btc support. btc going sideways. On the main market this type of price action almost invariably leads to a spike up, as the shorts get squeezed. It will be interesting to see if btc acts in the same way. shorting USD against almost anything is oh so tempting ... | random
24/4/2017 14:14 | zec - for the win. its quite bid this morning... | mcbeanburger
23/4/2017 19:09 | thanks McB ... I hadn't noticed the seasonals ... she noticed btc tends to rise on fridays. Failure to traverse and the short signal is issued ;-) | random |
