23/5/2017 02:59 | ...or a failed state-like pseudo currency Northern :) some classic quotes tonight gents! wave e extension! target $100k - $10m! comparison to gold! as a medium of exchange its hopeless, hence no one bothers, and its an inconvenient store of wealth for anyone outside the angry birds generation ;) | tpaulbeaumont
23/5/2017 01:06 | btc - volatile old beast ain't she, it's a traders wet dream | northern1
23/5/2017 00:55 | I take it you're talking about zcash selling off? | spadman

22/5/2017 21:18 | so blue sky it is. xmr has gone crazy as well. $100 soon, imho. good mining at this price as well. | random
22/5/2017 19:27 | I'm not too worried about scaling or the technicalities. I'd be lying if said I know at length the ins and outs of bitcoin. They can hold you back as a trader. I see blue sky until the sky changes. Money and capital can move mountains if it wants to. | commander t
22/5/2017 17:44 | Commander T... IF BTC ever scales, and I think it probably will you are looking at perfect money, the perfect store of value and the perfect medium of exchange. Market cap would easily be 10times Gold... ie $3m btc. I'm not saying that will happen, but it could easily happen. If BTC scales without issue anywhere between 100k and $10m over the next 10-30 years. | spadman
22/5/2017 17:39 | The truth is poor old man Paul has never and will never own any BTC. Bit shocked he's completely lost the plot after years of subtle snipes... bit sad really. If you insist on viewing the World through the over 50s tinted lenses, I suppose there was always going to be anger. | spadman
22/5/2017 15:06 | up up and away | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 15:03 | Google market cap $660bn+ Bitcoin market cap $36bn I dont know how big things could get but Bitcoin isnt the biggest yet. (Apple is $800bn) | commander t
22/5/2017 14:26 | btc has busted through PR2 and is in spitting distance of the pinnacle of the rising wedge at $2245 ... all rather risky really. Above 2245 is an insane wave e extension. btc futures seem a given ... it could do with an option chain. buying calls and puts here is an almost guaranteed win (i.e. long btc volatility) maybe one of the sb offers a double touch bet on btc? ... almost as certain to win even with fairly wide targets (i.e long odds ;-) ... | random
22/5/2017 14:16 | i have as much in the BTC ether as i want to gamble :) anecdotally, the daily BTCUSD ROC usually ends meaningful moves with a bang and its not in bang territory | tpaulbeaumont
22/5/2017 14:13 | So whats everyone going to do with their $72m in another 7 years time... think of all those Ferraris, big houses, holidays etc | commander t
22/5/2017 14:09 | more words of "the man who missed the trade" lollololl just get over it and buy the dips. tee hee | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 13:30 | anyway forgot there is a couple of futures markets already one in china and the other .... not sure where. cme plans to open a futures market for btc - that will put btc into a tailspin. | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 13:27 | I've asked this before a while ago so sorry for repeats, but if I made a Bitcoin paper wallet what would be the best way to send from it? Are there simple trustworthy web sites that enable this or would I have to run software at my end? | chinahere
22/5/2017 13:24 | tp - global currency - that is the only reason i'm in for this. if the Rockefellers like it so should I! | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 13:22 | alexx - yes we should assume massive shorting will cut btc in half and more probably. | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 13:21 | tp - bitter words of a man who missed the trade. lolz | mcbeanburger
22/5/2017 13:21 | Anyone got any opinions on this, don't feel qualified to answer myself. From silver thread. "weyweyumfozo 22 May '17 - 07:41 - 63765 If gold and silver prices are controlled by the futures market, will bitcoin etc. not go the same way, as I see that there are bitcoin futures and leveraged derivatives available?" | alexx
22/5/2017 12:29 | maybe a better cryptocurrency will come out one day that will be widely adopted, but it wont be BTC, and if or when it does a global currency will be something conspiracy theorists have been claiming the folkloric zionists/bankers/roc Lots of people jump on the blockchain train, it is a nice idea, but again its susceptible to processing power/hacking, itd be great to have votes via a blockchain, the populace could be consulted for their vote for everything in the house of commons, like pop idol with results in hours :) | tpaulbeaumont |
