Its simple, if BTU wins the day buy and hold at whatever price, if core maintain control I dont see any upside. Not until Adam back, Gregory Maxwell and Peter Todd are kicked to the curb.

Assuming the bull is still in place there could be a good buying op fairly soon. OTOH, a lower high could mark the beginning of a trend change.

closed short and went long last night but closed this morning.

where's this going - has to be the .618 fib of the complete move... so that's about 804 in $ or about 570 in euro.

we'll see.

looked at it but not thinking of buying. i'm looking for value. people are buying dash and friends so they can stay in crypto and not liquide into paper money and get a tax bill (maybe).

currently short btc and underwater but will hold cause I think the btc community is in mess.

random - eth is the managed (by their creators) and etc is the old unforked version (of eth - supposedly unmanaged)

Mcbean Have you looked at etherium classic ETC? The feeling is it will replace ETH, governance is a worry with bitcoin which is why I believe DASH and ETC are both doing well.

I was looking at xmr (when it was running up) and then dash and wondered why dash wasn't running up with it. not for the third time did I think I should have buy some. somethings are so obvious.

Interesting stuff alexx.

The debate does seem to be focused on BTC v XMR. On paper XMR has many desirable properties not yet implemented in BTC. The 1MB block size issue seems to be a critical issue. If the artificial limit is not raised very soon the TX backlog will intensify, and XMR will take the load.

Not that XMR is perfect. TX fees are rather high, and the blockchain suffers from more bloat than BTC.

I wonder whether the etf rejection was really bad for the long term bitcoin. The less big business has to do with bitcoin the better.

I see range bound (I see euro not making new lows) for the moment. that's means it going to be a very interesting time for alts. summer for alts I reckon.

so off I go looking for alts - most of which I see has moved already. so laggers and retracements rule.
