Last year notice of the AGM came thru on the 10th of August for the 13th of September so we should be due the notice of this year's AGM this week or next wonder if any update will be tagged on to that if not surely we have to have some significant update just prior to agm. if not I think this game is seriously over.

Anyone here that was on the GKP roller-coaster?

For me 7p up to £4.40, rumours of $8 a share, then war, high court ownership battle, Todds divorce and oil slump, back to 2.5p in real money today. I sold all the way down

I never lost a penny, but picking the right time to sell was very difficult, if things do take off here i think our biggest threat will be big oil, they want it all for themself

I share the frustration but this is going to the wire for many reasons.

We prob won't hear nothing until the AGM in September but don't expect anything new. we will probably get the same old waffle with no substance.while they all vote each other into their cushy posts for another year prob their last.

Its obvs....no update means they clearly haven't come close in reaching a deal.... who knows if there's any potential farm out partners

Linton78,

I understand what you are saying however it has to be said we have had no updates on progress which in my view they could have kept shareholders what was happening, it simply does not give us any confidence.

You cannot tell me nothing has happened this year if it hasn't why are shareholders funding them, yes we are paying their salaries and expenses.

I don't know Simon Potter but has got to be the worst communicator to shareholders I have come across, what is he doing because I and no one else does, I gather the original guy died which is sad and he took over, how many years ago was that and what has he achieved.

Look the only way is a partner and for gods sake just get one even if we keep just 10% for a free carry because if not we are finished and someone else will pick up the licences if we don't drill.

If there is circa 28 Billion barrels then why has a major not come in, doesn't add up, I will hold for the outcome but BPC does not exactly give me confidence at the moment, I hope it changes quick.

Linton, all well and good, but at the very bloody least they could inform us of whether they are actually in possession of any bids???? It's called an update!

Gents - share price is still bobbing around the placement price.

The company have told us not to expect a farm in before 1st Sept (see 6-12 month comment in the March presentation).

Yes, this is extremely painful but it’s holiday season across O&G firms and the city so I’m not expecting an update in August. The cutoff for bids is likely to be sometime in September... my guess, based on farm in times.

That ties in with CFO comments of a farm in before year end... hopefully a lot sooner!!

Clearly they are struggling to source a partner/investor/funds, indeed anything. I find it extremely unprofessional of a Company to provide such minimal information. Hardly a good incentive to encourage investors :(
Edit:- Indeed I put it to you Mr Simon Potter that you should be ashamed of your reign at BPC, You have done exactly what since September 2011, how many years have we been bobbing around at these levels. Little point in have a resource if you can't do anything with it? You may as well have a paddling pool, I think it's time for a change!!!!!!

Joined a call for Tecnicas half year results earlier (Spanish O&G contractor).

They say the oil market is entering bull territory, investments being signed off again and a bright future. The likes of ADNOC etc are spending the big bucks once again.

Everything is in place...

Bpc AGM was held on 13th September 2018 which in bpc timeframe of doing things is like tomorrow.

I must admit if potter spouts on about working hard in discussions with possible majors blah,blah at the agm and nothing substantive,then imo people will be selling in droves and the share price tank.
