08/8/2019 09:46 | Shares getting sucked up on the cheap. | whoppy
07/8/2019 23:22 | Martyn9, Your welcome, anything to help a lady and a fellow investor out after todays push through $1500 am still counting my profits. have already recovered 25% of the hit I took here when selling out. Am anticipating another 25% recovery tomorrow as pog hasn't stopped in ascention just yet $1700 is the target for year end. | cinoib
07/8/2019 15:28 | Absolute bloodbath with the market atm, i'm glad we are under the radar for the moment!! | martyn9
07/8/2019 09:54 | Martyn9, Why don't you give SRB or AAZ a shot with gold currently on a bull run and close to $1500 an ounce you could recoup your loses from here in a short space of time as there seems to be no end in sight just yet for gold. Most pundits are expecting $1700 by year end, but at it's current rate we could see that a lot sooner and miners tend to rise 3% for every 1% rise in pog. I already have recouped a 1/4 of my loss here in just a couple of days. You could recover your losses and then come back and buy more if you think this will ever come good. I'll leave you to think that one over. | cinoib
06/8/2019 21:59 | The facts and fundamentals have never been stronger in the history of BPC. It's strange how doubt creeps in and people start to not believe in why they invested or that because the company hasn't given a running commentary it's all doomed. Just relax. We are here for big profits and you need to wait for the company to go through the farmout process. We are looking for a good deal not any old deal. | whoppy
06/8/2019 17:34 | My magic beans are nicely planted, watered and sprinkled with fertiliser. Lol. Reading this board today was like speaking with the ex-wife, I felt like cutting my wrists!! Cheer up guys. The 6-12 month farm out period starts in September (this year!) Best outcome is farm out on half decent terms. It’s a bloody hard sell but it’s certainly not impossible, as shown by exclusivity interest. | linton78
06/8/2019 17:32 | Highly speculative buy at best.worst case scenario total shareholder wipeout on loss of license growing ever more likely.best case is now another license extension as there is almost certainly insufficient time remaining to secure funding and drill the required well.no doubt BOD will tap up shareholders for some more cash in the meantime. | bigsi2
06/8/2019 16:57 | This share is just a blind gamble now. | todpodger
06/8/2019 16:14 | They aren't questioning themselves you moron-They are questioning the facts and fundamentals as should you.poor fool still waiting for your magic beans to grow. | bigsi2
06/8/2019 16:06 | whoppy, this guy Potter is literally screwing the shareholders to fund his outrageous salary. Tell me, how many staff do they have? What are the 5 Directors plus their office staff actually doing every day, Mon-Fri 8:30 - 5:30? Are they all just sitting about waiting and as you say, playing things out? Or do you think all the Directors are working elsewhere as well? I think it all stinks! | looneytune
06/8/2019 15:53 | So many people start questioning themselves. They just need to relax and let things play out. It's like the gloomsters and doomsters of Brexit.. Just because we haven't heard anything, doesn't mean nothing is happening. Just wait for the news. BPC will say something when they are good and ready... Now for the nutters.. Lol | whoppy
06/8/2019 13:50 | Simon Potter earns (albeit reduced to) $375,000pa!! Now call me a cynic but I just don't see the running of BPC being a full time job. On the plus side, it was made clear on their 2019 Outlook that:- Outlook for 2019 and beyond Going forward, everyone at the Group remains entirely focused on the singular task of seeing an initial exploration well completed. The Groups current obligation to safely implement an environmentally responsible well prior to the end of 2020 has been clearly laid out by the Government in our recent licence extension. The Group has not had the ability to demonstrate this level of certainty of tenure for a considerable period of time. Along with this, we have secured the working capital we need, the Government is supportive, the legislative regime is clear and enacted, and we have an adviser in place. At the same time, the surrounding industry circumstances are favourable, with sustained recovery in the global oil price, and renewed industry interest in frontier exploration. In 2019 and 2020, we thus look forward to delivering: securing the investment needed to drill an initial exploration well and thereby move this exciting project forward. | looneytune
06/8/2019 13:05 | I don't think bpc will have a cat in hells chance of getting another licence extension the Bahamian government have given bpc deadlines which if not met could be and probably would be a breach of agreed terms thus leaving Bahamian government with a free hand to do as they please with no legal repercussions.this is last chance saloon and I hope bpc are being rational with investors money and not being unrealistic because you can only get what someone is willing to pay. | todpodger
06/8/2019 12:33 | I wouldn't be at all surprised to see another placing 3Q/4Q this year as BPC know they won't have a hope of getting another one away come 2020 as it will be obvious to all then that terms will be breached and yet another extension will be needed although not guaranteed.those "funds" taking the placing shares will not be certain of getting the necessary pump to pre sell their shares at a tidy profit to mugs.Perhaps the AG will be complicit in another placing before the end of the year? | bigsi2
06/8/2019 11:36 | Reality and fantasy have merged into delusion for some, still an easy £500k , probably already believes it's in the bank . . . . . | dynamohum
06/8/2019 09:35 | Either you haven't bothered to research the company or that is a flagrant lie.BPC is 90% + retail and has been for years.https://www.bp | bigsi2
06/8/2019 09:23 | Institutions are happy to put their money here and hold . . . . . . Really , stretching the reality again whopper . . . . . | dynamohum
06/8/2019 09:12 | Patience is needed. The recent raise at 1.6p for $2.5m is an indicator. Institutions are happy to put their money here and hold. It should be no different for the private investor. The institutions will have had the most relevant information on farmout and who is in the frame and the likelihood of a them farming in. BPC are confident of attracting a farmin partner. They've stated this as so. With everything that's gone on before in the last 10 years, that's quite a statement and wouldn't have been said without a reason. It's probably not a question of if a major wants to drill but rather on what commercial terms, etc. Comes down to the money. imho. | whoppy
06/8/2019 09:01 | BigSi - The current oil market is not that bad IMO. I've seen plenty of investments in refinery projects, oil drilling etc and that is expected to be continued. Yes, the trade / currency war with China will unsettle markets and the oil price. I'm more concerned that BPC will have to accept a low ball offer of say 10% retain and no back costs to get this drilled. | linton78
06/8/2019 08:28 | Looking very unlikely anything will happen here.Especially in the current oil market. | bigsi2
06/8/2019 07:33 | I think everyone left here is left in sheer desperation now.agm will be crunch time surely potter cant get away with saying they are in discussions with multiple potential partners but cant release any details due to nda yet again just don't wash anymore.if no significant news on progress it ain't gonna happen imo, time is passing quickly and other parties will be getting in position to purchase licences if bpc fail majors will prob have a share out and bpc sent to oblivion. | todpodger
05/8/2019 13:09 | Good luck cinoib,i'm hanging on in desperation of possible good news before/during the agm. | martyn9
05/8/2019 12:57 | Sorry can't wait any longer pog is to tempting to let it go so have sold and moved to gold miners. | cinoib
05/8/2019 12:37 | Bartender Yes I was on that one from 38 to 108 then out back in and sold out at 300 so did very nicely thank you very much am hoping eco will do the same as 12 days of drilling left. | cinoib |
