Very difficult company to value and on the odd occasion, like Melrose, I look at other quantitative data and qualitative data to try and make an informed opinion. I've bought on the fact they have an excellent track record (personal values aside) and strong grasps of some of their end markets. The fact it is almost all GKN (which I used to hold) and believe they can improve margins makes me an investor. I particularly think their Powder Metallurgy division has good future prospects. By-the-way, I hold Boeing too, not BAE, because I believe it has more to grow into. | medieval blacksmith | |
