Plenty of selling due to Seckers comments yesterday about tapping existing equity investors, he basically confirmed another placing is on the way IMO. mid 30’s is a decent exit point for those that bought at 18p and up to mid 20’s, i would certainly reinvest at those levels again. Unfortunately there is inevitably more dilution to come.

It takes between 5-10 years for a company to become successful.

And if they are not up to scratch they will go bust in years 1-5

So as BCN is still here, then the next 5 years will become the milestone for making a profit.

I expect the selling is due to investors mis-managing their own expectations. Then when the expected (get-rich-quick) price spike fails to appear they throw in the towel.

In my view the news yesterday significantly derisks the project. Ganfeng's investment should make raising money much easier - they would not be investing the money if they were not fairly certain of that.

Best to ignore short term price shifts and focus on the long term value of the business.

None of it is 'new news'. Dilution was known about as were Gamgfeng's plans. Removing uncertainty is the main factor and a relief rally was always on the cards.

From Genfang - no exact dates. But In the coming months. Its only six weeks since that statement. So oatience is required.

Genfang have deals to supply big customers and Sonora cost basis is one of the best. In addition time from in the ground to shipment is a week or so, unlike the lithium brines from Chile and Argentina. If i'm not mistaken the Hard Rock deposits from Australia get shipped to China for processing into Lithium.


Mr. Wang Xiaoshen, the Deputy Chairman of Ganfeng Lithium commented, "We are continuing to progress the approval process in China in order to complete our initial investment in Bacanora Lithium and its Sonora Project. Our significant investment demonstrates our belief in the viability of the Sonora Project and its ability to become a world class operation and support Ganfeng's strategy of growing to a 100,000tpa lithium producer. Our technical team is commencing its review to identify areas where Ganfeng can add value to the project delivery. Ganfeng is committed to supporting Bacanora in its financing and commencing development of the Sonora Project in the coming months." It is proposed that Mr. Wang will join the Board of Bacanora as a Director upon the completion of the Ganfeng investment.

From Tue 06 Feb 2018 we have. So his leaving is not such a surprise, or a big deal.

Bacanora Minerals Ltd (LON:BCN, CVE:BCN), the London and Canada-listed lithium company, has appointed Eileen Carr as a non-executive director and Janet Boyce as chief financial officer.

The board strengthening comes ahead of the start of construction at its Sonora lithium project in Mexico.

I have sold. Up until that announcement I was fairly certain the Chinese would not let this bargain go but something doesn't feel right now and added to the unusual delay.
