24/5/2019 00:45 | Huge upside sold for a pittance. Secker is pleased with himself? Obviously he's relieved. The incompetence of not knowing how to actually develop the asset has left the business way behind on progress and BCN ended up desperate for funding or potentially going down altogether. The problem is the deal doesn't exactly transform the balance sheet.. near-term woes are averted, long-term destiny remains uncertain. And half the upside has been forsaken. Neutral is probably a valid reaction. | j0sekl
22/5/2019 23:52 | Nice article in the FT today about China dominating the lithium space. Some interesting background info on Ganfeng and of course a very small mention of the proposed deal with BCN. Electric cars: China powers the battery supply chain | tech_ip
21/5/2019 12:34 | The market/Investors are pretty Neutral on the deal imho Some decent Podcast and presentations, however lets see what happens in six plus weeks time. | john henry
21/5/2019 10:41 | Oh yes. Locked and loaded. Just don't think it will fly today. | johny cash

21/5/2019 08:58 | KAV Some nice words in the morning note from the highly respected mining analyst John Meyer at share price Angel ref: LSE:KAV / www.kavangoresources Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 3.6p, Mkt Cap £5.7m – Laws of probability to be rewritten after Kavango strikes mineralisation in first and second drill holes under Karoo sand in Botswana Kavango, which is exploring for a large-scale bushveld igneous-type mineralisation reports results from a second drill hole in Botswana. The team which are highly experienced in the geology of the region have used geophysical data and remote sensing to establish drilling locations. Remarkably, the first drill hole hit mineralisation under the sandy Karoo sediments Even more remarkably the second drill hole is reported to have also hit mineralisation including copper in chalcopyrite with a 1.5% XRF gun reading. X-Ray Frequency gun readings are not considered to be reliable due to their potential for miss-reporting but we do place some value on the readings when in the honorable hands of Messrs. Foster and Moles. The first drill hole hit a 200m zone of intensely altered rock with indicative cobalt values of up to 0.9%, averaging 0.2% cobalt and >70m of elevated copper, zinc, lead and nickel values. Conclusion: Kavango is worth watching and we await results from drill core assays. While we never doubted the skill of the geological team we are surprised and impressed to see two sets of mineralised results in so short a time frame. Well done team! | cpap man
21/5/2019 08:58 | Wake up orange. | johny cash
20/5/2019 22:28 | Trade war as you put it has no bearing on micro economic transactions at project level - you don't think that China just stops all business because they are in discussions with the US again? Their economy would collapse. | cl0ckw0rk0range
20/5/2019 19:33 | Re 4349 i agree - very much like 'Dragons Den' where they are willing to sell a signif. part of their bus. for a lower price just to get an appropriate Dragon onboard | grim
20/5/2019 15:24 | Secker looked rightly pleased with himself in todays interview. He also says that the numbers for Zinnwald will be similar to Mexico so i simply assign 25p to Zinnwald and we should be at 50p by end of June, FS confirmed to be 6 weeks away and then spinning it off is the next priority. This is derisked now. Nobody should get fixated with the 25p investment price, that includes project management and execution expertise. Happy long term holder now, big relief and i continue to add in the 20’s. 6 weeks is pretty bullish for China capital outflow sign off, another of my holders Bagir has been waiting for 9 months! | rimau1
20/5/2019 14:59 | Just googled Ganfeng Lithium market cap on Google. Currently 2.8billion GBP. (28.78b CEY)Last 4 quarters revenues is around 550m with a profit of 134m.Not bad numbers and not a bad company to team up with in the future if I have read the numbers correctly. Ok they have got a good entry level at 25p into BCN. But if you can look past that I'm sure it will be a good deal eventually for BCN holders. | norsewebster
20/5/2019 13:57 | And why not? I expect this to be in the 40s, 50s and beyond very soon. | tech_ip |
