28/1/2005 08:33 | Brokers forecasts predict a "flat" 2006/7 due to lack of work for Rosythe, and stalling on major contracts for the MOD. As we all know, the market cant see more than 2 yards from its nose so for this reason I am cautious about any sustained move above 150p. I still believe in this management team, and with a broader spread of business and better management of Peterhouse, I've got a hunch that BAB might surprise the market in the coming year. look out for news on major contracts for short term share price performance. Nonetheless, I retain a reasonable stake for the medium / long term and will definitely buy on any weakness. A major "core" holding IMHO but I take some profits when they are there because I do this for a living. Good luck all and DYOR. | jelfsie

05/1/2005 08:28 | Can you give details NTV?. I didnt see any. This move above 130p is a big one, looking back over the past 5 years, so I expect its resolve to be tested at some stage. Could easily see 150p before then however. Im out for a short term play at 145p if we get there. All IMHO of course. | jelfsie
04/1/2005 21:21 | breaking out nicely after a couple of newspaper reports to add to the fire | ntv
22/12/2004 23:08 | Just had a look at these again and to me they look cheap at current price of 132p. The present consensus forecast on HS (13.3p) looks set to be well beaten given they did 7.7p in H1. A much more realistic target IMO is that provided by Numis, as quoted in the IC review of results on 3 Dec: 'Numis Securities is raising pre-tax profit forecasts from £30m to £37m, giving EPS of 15p' That would equate to a PE of 8.8 and with possible earnings of around 17p for the forthcoming year and a forward PE then of, say 12 (sector ave. acc to HS is 13.9). So, I think your 180 is quite possible jelfsie, and I'd raise that to 200p over 12 months if all goes well. | penpont
