30/3/2023 16:02 | I see they are finally proceeding with the winding up to a new an open ended fund or cash out subject to shareholder approval meeting in May. With no action on their original announcement I tried to sell these at the recent high beginning of March putting in a limit order at around what I thought bids were at with the ridiculous spread. | richied
21/3/2023 19:04 | The spreads are utterly ridiculous. | holts
16/2/2023 12:50 | Some large (for AXI) late trades gone through today and yesterday. They are hard to read but the 100k, 223k and 50k match with the 372k in some from of transaction. Which leaves the 126k for the moment. All I know for sure is that the MM still want large amounts of stock | cc2014
26/1/2023 10:50 | Being walked up nicely now. | cc2014
25/1/2023 14:44 | 25 January 2023 Axiom European Financial Debt Fund Limited Dividend Announcement Axiom European Financial Debt Fund Limited (the "Company") today announces that it has declared the fourth ordinary dividend for the period from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 of 1.50p per share. The dividend is to be paid on 24 February 2023 to ordinary shareholders on the register at the close of business on 3 February 2023. The ex-dividend date is 2 February 2023. | cwa1
24/1/2023 15:56 | The spread is wide because the MM wish to discourage buyers as someone is collecting stock. The pattern has been like this for some time. The MM will accept significant volume within the spread should you wish to sell. It would be my guess the MM will once again lift the bid after a suitable period of time if they don't find any sellers here. | cc2014
24/1/2023 15:23 | Thought price had firmed recently but all that’s really happened is that the spread has widened. Almost 7% at the moment. | cousin jack
27/10/2022 09:19 | difficult to know really, shame they are taking so long about it | my retirement fund
25/10/2022 10:09 | I’ve been watching this as a possible trade. Buying around 85, with a possible cash settlement around 90 in a few months ( and a couple of dividends in the interim) seems a decent prospect. Or maybe not as there seems a fair chance the NAV will continue to drift ? I’d be interested in the views of those more familiar with this stock. | cousin jack

30/9/2022 09:36 | so many bargains out there i sold but surprised it held so well | my retirement fund
25/8/2022 15:49 | What surprised me most is that the news of the future of the fund was largely not leaked. There appear to be some very dubious trades around the 82-83p price just before the news but plenty went through below 80p when the Board must have been considering it and surely they've been considering it for months. 11 of the trades below 80p were mine, a friend took another 2 or 3 and I think a few more will have gone to some on this Board. That's a fair number of them when you consider some of them must have been MM to MM. Frustratingly I've have probably done a few more but on the last day when the last bit of volume went below 80p I was out at the Commonwealth games without wifi or 4g for 6 hours. I'm being greedy there. I got very lucky. I would guess there's nothing much going on with the MM's. Buying a few at 88p and flipping them for 90.5p is good business. If they get too much at 88p they probably reckon they can phone someone and shift them at a profit. Or they've got an order in to buy some decent volume at whatever they can get them for plus a mark-up | cc2014
25/8/2022 14:53 | Well I can place an order for 30,000 with iweb at this moment 90.4p, I don't have free funds to try any other size, but that's fairly chunky for this, so at least one market maker is happy to sell lots. Its very difficult to know for sure of course, but where one is short they buy off the other so that suggests to me its more about running an over weight book for future profit rather than a fill order, we will never know, its fun guessing though! | my retirement fund
25/8/2022 14:45 | I venture to disagree mrf. I cannot ever remember 100k being avaiable to sell on instant fill on an on-line quote on AXI. Even when there has been decent volume available to fill a sell order it's usually in only in lumps of 25k, albeit the MM's will accept multiple lumps of 25k Having said that I do not know what volume is availalbe to buy at 90.4p as I'm almost fully invseted at the moment. It could be the MM's attitude to risk has changed with the RNS. And at a 2.5p spread why wouldn't they be prepared to take on some risk. Robbers. Sell price creeping up though. 88.12p to sell now. | cc2014
25/8/2022 13:27 | 90.4 to buy so not as tight as to suggest a huge buy order is in, it just seems the market makers are happy as Larry to hold an overweight book at anything around 88p, they are obviously clued up on events as all markets makers are in the same bed as the house broker. | my retirement fund
24/8/2022 12:02 | Just got to wait now. I note the actual sell price is very very slowly nudging up with each subsequent trade suggesting there's a hidden buyer in the background collecting stock. I wonder how patient the buyer is? Hardly getting any stock but clearly wants plenty as I can sell 100k at the prevailing 88.08p | cc2014
19/8/2022 11:57 | Thanks for your views, of course being paid 1.5p every three months whilst they work the offer out should make anyone feel better. | my retirement fund |
