According to traders, JPMorgan placed 1.8m shares for an undisclosed institutional seller at between 1,061p and 1,100p.
At 1110 GMT, the shares were down 12% at 1,036p.
Avon specialises in the engineering and manufacturing of respiratory protection equipment for military, law enforcement and fire personnel. |

A mixed bag, as you'd expect half way through a restructuring but enough to put a floor under the current share price and advance on future good news.
I'm about 4% of my pf here and will increase to 5% on weakness. |

Re reading the last reports from the company it looks like they have been conservative with the forecasts as they have been stung in the past.Orders are already in for respirator and helmets for next year and stopping the buyback should make the balance sheet stronger.I'm not expecting anything explosive as the CEO is leaving but things are lining up for a strong recovery with the new CEO nd CFO |
