13/8/2021 08:41 | I'm in. That fall is way overdone. M/C now only circa £750m. Revenue next year $300m . Critical business that could not be allowed to fail. Strong takeover target ! | mallorca 9
13/8/2021 08:30 | I'm out, 18% loss. Never want any part of this company again. | mr euro
13/8/2021 08:28 | Do we then extrapolate the expected results in 2021/22 to the share price of 2016/2017 which is close to £10 ? | fuji99
13/8/2021 08:28 | Does Robbie Burns still hold this? I've noticed that he hasn't mentioned his holding for a while - only that Avon could be a takeover target. | mallorca 9
13/8/2021 08:26 | So this almost 30% drop will take us nearly to the March/April pandemic drop of 2020.A huge oversold reaction in my opinion and a buying opportunity for me.Short term issues and a very seemingly honest trading update.I'll see where this settles and top up | r2oo
13/8/2021 08:24 | No doubt Robbie the Trader will have still secured a handsome profit or so he'll tell everybody due to him being able to guarantee a stop price..yeah right | bahiflyer
13/8/2021 08:11 | Yes wasn't really expecting that knew it wouldn't be great but this sounds dire. Very slow recovery here as it was so highly rated | w1lbur01
13/8/2021 08:09 | Well, that's wiped out the past fortnight's 'recovery'. And some. | vulgaris
30/7/2021 16:01 | Great article in the Share mag | ch1ck
30/7/2021 08:51 | The results pointed to a much better second half. Hopefully the gradual share price rejuvenation is starting to reflect this. | morti1
30/7/2021 08:07 | I bought in yesterday Great recently point | ch1ck

28/7/2021 09:09 | Hi ToleThought today's price was a good entry point having sold earlier | ch1ck
14/7/2021 17:50 | At least they didn't call it "Rubber Protection" | persevere2
14/7/2021 15:37 | I'll admit to dipping a little toe back in here. | tole
14/7/2021 10:53 | Good grief - had eye on this for a while. Never though it would be back below 2500. | scepticalinvestor
14/7/2021 09:33 | If bigbigdave is still around, perhaps he could change the thread name? | 18bt
14/7/2021 08:14 | ….perhaps protecting the share price ……… | redips2
13/7/2021 10:28 | It won't be "Rubber" anymore, it will be "Avon Protection plc". | fuji99
11/7/2021 08:52 | Yes be interesting to know. The video was quite interesting above. For transparency I hold no position here . I don't knowingly invest in those companies connected to the military. | hazl
10/7/2021 22:51 | I know the word "Rubber" remains in the company name, but how much rubber do they actually use these days? They're long gone from making tyres and the milk business has been sold. Military respirators, helmets, stab-vests/armour; how much natural rubber is actually used in these products? I don't know, but I suspect not a lot. | jeffian
05/7/2021 23:35 | 14p which is about 0.5%. Not very much at all. | bingaxu
30/6/2021 16:09 | If you look at the long term chart in the header above, the decline can be pinpointed precisely to the Trading Update issued on 17/12/20 which contained the double-whammy announcing both the test failure of some of their body-armour and a legal challenge to the tender for the supply of Head Protection Systems to the US Army. I imagine that the shares will remain under the cosh until these matters are fully and satisfactorily resolved. | jeffian |
