I have it at the back of my mind that the rules say the minimum a bidder can offer is any price paid during the last 12 months. They announced a purchase on 25/2 taking them from 58.6% to 59.01%. share price at close 24/2 2466p, 25/2 2510p. Above that their generosity will be restrained by having already paid out - when the merger between the old Aveva and their software business took place giving them over 50% control shareholders were given compensation of 858p/share recognising that t/o potential had been taken away.

My new target is 3500 plus as we all know they already have full insight of AVV business only a few days before we get confirmation. 4000 is also likely on my chart…

No proposal for T/O has been provided by Schneider yet as there still mulling over the prospect but do they own 60% if that helps!

Well we didn't breakout from 25 on your previous prediction. This has been falling on such small volume. It's been tough to ride it down but the bottom after the most recent trading update looks firm so maybe your targets could be reached on this rally?

Once 2500 breaks then 3100 is my target. Revenues flowing and big deals but most important will be the next Software Upgrade/Release. Metaverse applications will be a great added value with Quantum Computing platform giving huge performances. Massive potential for AVV this year and beyond.

Lost half its value in the last 2 yrs? - er..no .. worse than that .. actually it has lost it in 7 months - closed today (27th) at 1924 having been 3869 on 27th Sept (and 4204 on 7th Sept.).

I think what freaked the market today was the combination of lower revenue and lower margins for the current year ( to 3/23 ). See slide 13 of the presentation here:

Well I guess today's TU shows why the share price has been falling , we are now back to 2018 levels. There is an optimism about some of the Update, doesn't read like that of a company that has lost over half its value in the last 2 yrs. I must be missing something...
