08/2/2005 21:15 | I think actually you might be at the old poker Frauddy and out to talk it down so you can add cheaper. Fixed assets of £25m excites you ay Fred? And the £1.5m cash ah? Then a nice business on top that's probably going to make £2.5m pre-tax next year from a market cap of £15m. And no tax to pay for some time with all those past losses I guess. You're right Frauddy, this isn't an investment, it's a gift from Heaven! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
08/2/2005 17:52 | Hey Frauddy - those three you mention are all in my pension and my pension is up 700% in 21 months - can you match that? Your 50K dump I guess today but the market just sucked them up as easy as peasy. A nice trading statement could be due - might be more egg on face time for you then I'd say. Say what you mean, mean what you say Frauddy. CR | cockneyrebel
08/2/2005 15:34 | pride comes before the fall.........you have been fortunate indeed that market conditions have favoured small cap stocks in recent weeks.....but the opposite conditions could also logically happen - anytime - to over valued tiddlers. Why would anyone buy this as an investment? No yield, illiquid, poor earnings record and visibility - no, it's just the market stupid, not your stockpicking skills my muppety friends...........AS | ydderf
08/2/2005 12:36 | I love this stock!! | dalcon01
08/2/2005 10:08 | Oh and another thing - in note 8 of the interims they said this: "8 Post balance sheet events As announced on 5 November 2004 the Group has exchanged contracts for the sale of its freehold premises in New Malden, Surrey, for a consideration of #1,600,000. The net book value of the premises is #800,000 with transaction costs expected to be less than #100,000. An exceptional profit will be recorded in the final results for the year ending 31 March 2005." So should be an exceptional gain of 700K at least in the full year results. So net assets should be well in excess of £17m come full year. Therefore ASO even after the recent rise still trades around 15% under net assets and while they have tangible assets of £23m, fixed assets of £25m and £1.5m in cash. There's also those past losses on the balance sheet to use up against tax (£15m of losses on the Profit and Loss account. A very profitable company, trading below nav, plenty of cash and loads of tax credits and 3.6p eps in H1 - screaming buy imo. CR | cockneyrebel
08/2/2005 08:32 | Just grabbed another 5K while it's quiet CR | cockneyrebel
04/2/2005 17:05 | Not on the percentage gainers board??? | dalcon01
04/2/2005 16:01 | Had a trading statement on Feb 5 last year so perhaps :-) CR | cockneyrebel
04/2/2005 16:00 | nice........ | ydderf
04/2/2005 15:54 | Flying! CR | cockneyrebel
03/2/2005 22:35 | Why the flurry of buys today? Trading statement due? | allstar4eva
03/2/2005 10:54 | Agreed. Also, normal annual cashflow is not far short of the mkt. cap. | langland
03/2/2005 10:37 | Moving up again and a 25K mm buy. Evolution reckoned there would be a trading statement from these in Jan/Feb likely. Screaming cheap still imo - Fixed assets of £25m, market cap £12m. And they are going to be very profitable this year and next - and growing fast. CR | cockneyrebel
28/1/2005 15:23 | Moving up again and making a breakout to a new all time high CR | cockneyrebel
26/1/2005 12:23 | thanks CR. | teapreacher
26/1/2005 12:20 | Only mentioned them as IVM and ASO were once all one (Videologic) and IVM have a major shareholding in MME. Murray who holds a 20% thatke in ASO also has a 20% stake in IVM, where he's the Chairman. I'm not holding either sadly - but expect ASO to perform just as well if not better :-) CR | cockneyrebel
24/1/2005 14:38 | CR: you mention IVM and MME above, you holding them? charts look a bit special:-) | teapreacher
24/1/2005 14:22 | Frauddy speak with fork tongue - your 25K buy this am Fraudders? Price is moving up, I know you'd like to add more but why not do it honestly, instead of trying to mug the smaller holders out? Due a trading statement soon according to the old housebroker. Bent as a corkscrew you are, mug your own granny you would. CR | cockneyrebel
21/1/2005 09:36 | Yes, and MME who IVM own a big chunk of. Why's ASO up the last few days, up again today. Might be Peel Hunt doing their bity as you say mesquida. CR | cockneyrebel
19/1/2005 17:33 | any of you watching investinmedia? | dalcon01
19/1/2005 16:05 | But remember C.R. that the mention of a Jan./Feb. trading update was in EVO's last note, and for six weeks now the brokership has been with a new house, namely PEEL HUNT. Perhaps the real reason for today's rise is that the new house is finally beginning to bang the drum a bit - who knows, perhaps even a circular is on the way. And did you ever know a circular initiating coverage to be anything other than bullish!!! | mesquida
19/1/2005 09:42 | ticking up today - well worth keeping an eye on as the broker note suggests a trading update in Jan/Feb CR | cockneyrebel
12/1/2005 19:03 | yes, looks good for leg up over next few months. | elmfield |
