16/6/2005 15:34 | Well I paid 98p ave for 10k and ain't complaining Freddy. With good results there is no reason not to see these trading above the previous recent high | chef
16/6/2005 15:33 | Hi Freddy, you cantankerous old git! ;) I've already answered your question, obvious init: mad4IT - 15 Jun'05 - 15:47 - 163 of 171 edit The MMs aren't daft. They know there are loads of lurkers waiting to buy for the run up to results, so they were always likely to move the price up rapidly at some point, they don't want to pay out to much profit next week to the traders. | mad4it
16/6/2005 15:27 | a serious point is raised by the activity on this bb and in the market in recent days - although I expect you will all find it difficult to address. Why is it that for weeks you could buy them freely in size at around 98p or below, but do nothing, then when the price starts to move up, you pay 99-107p for relatively small sizes - no new info in the market, so it is just sentiment, expensive sentiment, btw i managed to buy loads at lower prices, and certainly didn't need to pay over 100p like many..... | ydderf
16/6/2005 15:15 | Yeah, I know, I was just having a laugh. ;) ....although I'm quite happy to do a bit of ramping if you think it'd help ? ;) | mad4it
16/6/2005 14:53 | Just a friendly greeting, M. :-) | diogenesj
16/6/2005 14:20 | DJ - I object to being called a ramper! It's obvious ASO will be £2 by Xmas! ;) | mad4it
16/6/2005 14:16 | Just a modest 3,000 at 103.88p, Z. Still feeling a bit cautious. | diogenesj
16/6/2005 13:59 | DJ, I take it that the 25000 at 107p was yours then... ZZZ PS Grabbed a few yesterday. | zorija
16/6/2005 10:14 | OK, rampers. Chart looks OK, so I've let you persuade me and bought a few. | diogenesj
15/6/2005 15:54 | As long as they pay me out. | chef
15/6/2005 15:47 | The MMs aren't daft. They know there are loads of lurkers waiting to buy for the run up to results, so they were always likely to move the price up rapidly at some point, they don't want to pay out to much profit next week to the traders. | mad4it
15/6/2005 15:35 | Just bought 10k in 2 5k lumps T-20 for 97.67p and 98.18p | chef
15/6/2005 15:35 | Remember....it's better to lurk than be a berk! ;) | mad4it
15/6/2005 15:32 | looks like the buyers are lerking :-) CR | cockneyrebel
15/6/2005 12:31 | I am hopeful that these will rise on and after results. I reckon that anyone getting in ahead of results will beat the crowd. They are comfortably ahead but the share price is not reflecting that IMO. MMs moved the price down a little this morning but will take more stock off you than they'll let you buy. The dip in the indices about 6 weeks ago dented confidence and the ASO share price went into steep decline. Now just needs the confirmation in results and folk will be back in their droves IMO. | doubleorquits
15/6/2005 11:59 | These should really be at the 120p level and more but it needs to generate interest. Perhaps good results will be the confirmation required for many investors to take them serious and buy the stock | chef
15/6/2005 11:56 | Well I will adding if they ain't higher than this the day before the results. Look at the chart, seems to be the way with this one, it drifts then you get a massive spike on the results where all the disbelievers are proved wrong. Not really any proving needed this year I'd say - they have already said they'll be comfortably ahead CR | cockneyrebel
15/6/2005 11:15 | WOndering if these are a trade pre results | chef
14/6/2005 12:36 | Still holding through the silence. Looking forward to the breakout. :0) | doubleorquits
14/6/2005 12:21 | Chart has made a fabulous pennant - should be a cracking breakout in at some point. Results in one week and the company says: 16 May 2005 Avesco plc Avesco plc, the AIM listed provider of audiovisual solutions and broadcast services, will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31st March 2005 on Thursday 23 June. An announcement will be made to the Stock Exchange on that day. | cockneyrebel
31/5/2005 12:39 | crookney you are showing signs of desperation! Also it is boring when you add stale news to the thread....do you honestly think any muppet already owning these shares will be unaware of recent annoucements? I know its been a wee while since one of your doggies got a result but you just have to be patient, or better still, stop evaporating your dosh on companies too small to be visible to serious investors ( as opposed to penny punting cfding muppets and their ilk)!! | ydderf
31/5/2005 11:51 | creeping up a tad again today - results Thurs 23rd June For those unaware: RNS Number:5479J Avesco PLC 10 March 2005 For Immediate Release 10 March 2005 Avesco plc Trading Update for the year to 31 March 2005 Avesco plc ("Avesco"), the provider of services to the corporate presentation, entertainment and broadcast markets, announces a Trading Update for the current year to 31 March 2005. Ian Martin, Chairman, commented; "I am pleased to report that the Avesco Group has continued to make progress since the first half of the year. The US activities performed strongly in the second half and, despite our caution about the outlook for the UK market at the interim stage, our operations in the UK have performed very well in the closing months while there has been a generally good performance across the rest of Europe. "Overall, virtually all our businesses have achieved growth rates ahead of expectations and as a result both our revenue and profit figures are ahead of the same period last year and considerably better than our expectations at the interim stage. Although the group's overall performance in the key trading month of March will not be finalised until the close of the financial year, we expect to report full year figures comfortably ahead of market expectation." | cockneyrebel
