14/1/2004 20:18 | The overhang of 96,231 shares dumped by someone on 22nd December at £1.15 must be starting to unwind. What we need next is either another deal announcement or a little pressure from Laxey to drive the price forward Andy | loinerscum
13/1/2004 12:31 | Nice bounce, Looking far stronger than we have done for some time. | business link
12/1/2004 10:45 | Many thanks Andy - chq came through this w/e for the sale of 70. Rgds, Giles | gid
10/1/2004 11:41 | Huge Pants The warrants are exercisable at 1.05 and expire in August this year. There are also a whole load of share options but most of these are well out of the money at the moment. Arthur | arthur_lame_stocks
10/1/2004 11:17 | There are over 2M warrants. What price are these realiseable at. cheers. | hugepants
06/1/2004 22:18 | GID Firstly 15,000/60=250 shares after 1:60 consolidation then Decembers bit of fun reduced you to 180 shares and you should eventually get payment for the other 70 shares at around £1.45 per share, I believe cheques for certificated holders have gone out, but some nominee companies are a little slow in registering the payments Depending on your broker chargers you might even be able to buy 70 in the market and make a miniscule profit at the moment. Cheers Andy | loinerscum
06/1/2004 20:47 | rhiannon...... TDW paid my consolidation proceeds direct into my nominee account today. | pacenote
06/1/2004 11:45 | I had 15000 ECI - Anyone got any ideas what that should equate to following the share cons and reorg ? (Apart from naff all) Thx | gid
04/1/2004 15:19 | Pacenote you are not alone 153 shares of mine gone missing. Going to phone TDWaterhouse tomorrow to see whats going on.wdik | rhiannon
04/1/2004 12:11 | I had a small holding of 80 shares in a TDWaterhouse a/c. They have now disappeared from my portfolio. Should I now expect to see a cheque from TDW or Avanti ? Thanks | pacenote
03/1/2004 10:58 | Totally agree with all the above loinerscum, Good luck to you and Happy new year, Pat | business link
02/1/2004 20:53 | I received the email below on 15/10/03 in request to my mail regarding conversion dates. The price for conversion will now be £1.05 following the 1:60 consolidation (and before anyone asks, ignore the 1:180 consolidation and its reversal!). I calculate that there are now 2,369,358 warrants in issue which when/if converted would bring in £2,487,825.90 if all converted. I personally own almost 14,000 warrants as well as shares and I am looking forward to them being a nice earner in 2004 with Laxey Partners pushing for results as I have already posted on the other (less negative) AVA thread. Thank you for your email. Here is an extract from the 2003 accounts that briefly describes the warrants: "At 30 June 2003 there were 142,161,515 warrants in issue to subscribe for ordinary shares at 1.75 pence per share up to 31 August 2004 ("warrants"). Each warrant gives the holder the right to subscribe for one ordinary share. During the year, there were no warrants that converted into shares." I hope this is what you want Regards Julian Fellerman Julian Fellerman Joint Chief Executive Officer Avanti Capital plc 2 Motcomb Street London SW1X 8JU | loinerscum
01/1/2004 11:46 | Coming back to this one after a long time away, so forgive me if this has been answered before: does anyone know what the terms of the AVAW warrants are? When they were EVIW, they were 1:1 @ 1.75p. Presumably that is not the case now - so any ideas what the exercise price is now? | zzaxx99
01/1/2004 11:36 | Been at this share game a good manys years. Never seen the like of this share consolidation before. To say it stinks is an understatement. Little man forced out the door if he wants to go or not at the BOTTOM. Leaving the company supposedly on the mend with the big boys having a bigger slice of the cake for no outlay. ONLY WAY TO FIGHT IT IS BUY MORE SHARES NOW YOURSELF. wdik | rhiannon
31/12/2003 10:28 | Just recieved my cheque this morning from Avanti! To say I've been shafted is an understatement! :( | stuart70
30/12/2003 21:28 | I agree AVA is oversold, the result of 96,231 shares dumped by someone on 22nd December at £1.15. I have done my bit to clear the overhang, buying 5,000 this morning at £1.24 on a T25. I believe that as soon as this overhang clears there will be a quick rise to around £1.40 and then it will be a question of awaiting newsflow. As I outlined in posts 76 and 84 Laxey Partners aren't going to let the board spend another year in relative obscurity, they expect results or else they undertake direct action to initiate change, they don't mess around. Happy New Year Andy | loinerscum
30/12/2003 14:51 | Have bought back in today, Believe AVA to be oversold. Suggest 3 month target around 142p Pat | business link
30/12/2003 13:17 | How do you work out 1.25 in cash? I think they have less, nearer to 1 pound. Arthur | arthur_lame_stocks
30/12/2003 12:08 | Many thanks dubbsie. I will be buying some of these if they drop further. | ben value
30/12/2003 11:39 | Has £1.25 per share plus value of investments. What the investments are worth is the upside in the price so in my mind cant lose at this price | dubbsie
30/12/2003 11:30 | I can't work out whether this company really has £2.82 net cash per share. I would be very grateful for any views. | ben value
30/12/2003 01:55 | Celebration time, Tiger Boy and Raven Man are gone, onwards and upwards from here I think!
