15/11/2012 16:59 | We live in hope Johncraven! Regards. | rafboy
15/11/2012 16:32 | Some monster buy orders in auction on SLE have a look. Very strong days trading on both considering markets hammered. | johncraven
15/11/2012 16:03 | Blackrock are buying over on SLE as well as Cheyne over here, reckon both AUL and SLE going to rocket very soon. | johncraven
15/11/2012 15:26 | A black knight??? Even the blinking court jester can see that this is a steal... Gutted I bought Sle just before the recent dip but very confident going forward. | richscotsman
15/11/2012 14:38 | Cheyne increasing CFD...is there a black Knight here. | naithani
15/11/2012 09:00 | SLE taking a hit today. Wall street got hammered last night but feel wall street got alot further to fall. | johncraven
14/11/2012 19:24 | hahaha I wish that would be good. I think I could retire and more. Silly spelling mistakes lol | johncraven
14/11/2012 18:09 | Thanks JC. Am I getting 1.3 XEL shares for each AUL share now? That sounds like a much better offer! | greenroom78
14/11/2012 17:34 | Greenroom78 Not at all you back your posts up very well and obviously controling the risk reward. All shares are risky esc aim but You still hold dont you? There have been plently of sells today but the uncertainty has lifted today with SLE rising. Your AUL in your porfolio will will gain significant value when the transfer of AUL shares to XEL at 1.3 times. Good luck. | johncraven
14/11/2012 17:19 | Maybe you think I'm crazy, I just call it risk management. At the end of the day it is about being comfortable and I now feel that way. I bought AUL under 9p so have turned a profit on the ones I have sold. I now have an average of about 7p on those I have left which I see as being considerably de-risked. Crazy or just cautious? Good luck with yours though. Me selling some does not make AUL or SLE a bad investment, I can very much see the bull case. | greenroom78
14/11/2012 16:52 | Exactly Johncraven and that is why I have added more AUL to my portfolio. | rafboy
14/11/2012 16:48 | no. Of Shares Factor Equiv Shares Price Value 100,000.00 1.30 130,000.00 0.0900 £11,700.00 SLE 100,000.00 1.00 100,000.00 0.1175 £11,750.00 AUL Wow AUL shares now worth 11.75 pence equiverlent to the SLE closing price of 9. Crazy madness selling at 10.5p loosing 1.25pence per share and not to mention the upside potential with the big investors over at SLE. Exciting times. Im not donating any money to the sellers at 10.5p. | johncraven
14/11/2012 16:35 | was the word irrevocable used or something similar with the proper spelling | kaos3
14/11/2012 16:31 | I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone comes along with a better offer for AUL. They have basically stated that they are prepared to sell out for 12-13p/share. Tosca have a major interest in this company and are averaging out at a lot more than this. They have recently upped their amount to clase on the 30% level and have siad that they are willing to deal. This to me is an open invitation to others to now make a move. | jasper2712
14/11/2012 16:31 | According to the management of SLE at the AGM, they were fine for cash for some time to come. They had already scheduled the testing of Siciny for the last quarter .... ie before Christmas .... and were already drilling for oil, which is low cost .... now, I accept, they could have been bluffing .... or maybe they already know that a major will be farming in to each project and paying the costs. Either way, if they're paying/have paid for the oil drilling .... now on their second well and are going ahead with the testing of Siciny this quarter .... this is before the merger .... so logic dictates they're doing it without any cash from AUL .... because the merger isn't due until 2013 .... :o) | imabastard
14/11/2012 16:26 | Ima - Everything I have read has said SLE needed the cash, is this wrong then? What cash do they have on the balance sheet and what are the funding requirements for this year and next? TIA | greenroom78
14/11/2012 16:14 | Greenroom .... "especially when SLE will need all of our cash and more to prove up its assets." They need no money to prove up the oil .... already struck oil on the first well, spudded the second well. Just awaiting OIIP numbers and flow rates. Each well on the oil costs less than £1 Million. Siciny .... they're not going to need £50 Million to test it (prove it up) .... nowhere near .... the testing is due this quarter and already confirmed by email by Oisin Fanning that it's going ahead .... and on that basis, they obviously don't need money to do it as the merger isn't due until January (next quarter). So, for the two nearest term and most prospective assets .... no AUL money is required to prove them up. Seperate to that .... there could be majors in the mix wanting to farm in and pay for all costs .... :o) | imabastard
14/11/2012 15:56 | Yes, we seem to be at a 1p discount constantly. For the record I sold just over half of mine a short while ago. This investment has changed for me and while I was comfortable with the size holding I had in a company trading largely at cash I was less comfortable with the same amount invested in the combined company, especially when SLE will need all of our cash and more to prove up its assets. Will this prove to be selling these too early? Most likely, however IMO it is sensible to build a portfolio you are comfortable with, My reduced holding now fits a risk level that suits me. I am undecided at what price I want for the rest. | greenroom78
14/11/2012 15:51 | Equiverlent SLE-AUL price well over 11pence NOW unbelievable people selling with all institutional support establishing over on SLE. | johncraven
14/11/2012 15:06 | Blackrock now buying over on SLE. Still a good idea selling AUL at 9.6 yesterday LOL. | johncraven
14/11/2012 14:46 | Greenrooms you may well be right. From a quick search however cant find any other transactions. Will have a better look tonight | johncraven
14/11/2012 14:43 | Agree rafboy | nw99
14/11/2012 14:31 | My personal view is that AUL is a buy atm given the increasing sle share price Just hope you folks feel the same as I do on this and go out and buy. Not investment advice just my personal opinion. | rafboy
14/11/2012 14:00 | Norges are usually spot on with their trading in the oil shares . | nw99 |
