I wonder whether there's anything behind this rise? From what the company said at the last results they expect to make a loss this year overall also but is it people in the know calling the bottom of the market? I'd be happy if the BOD have put some more money in, although looking at the recent volume the sums wouldn't be large really considering the price. They did at least call the top very well whereas I called it completely wrong (I didn't realise quite how cyclical this business is).
I don't know if it wiil last, but it's nice that it isn't looking quite so dreadful in my SIPP.
Actually for the first time I think i'd be happy if the penny punter pump and dump crowd turned up here and got us up a couple more pence. |

Another gentle and quiet move at a touch higher this morning, with 2.43p paid against the 2.50p ask.
Nicely positive looking for more of this steady progression.
At the ask, there is 4 mm's although each is showing only 25k shares and all are asking 2.50p.
Any, even mildly, positive news will easily lift this one.

Nice to see these up a bit for a change. This hasn't been one of my better buys so far but I guess I didn't realise just how cyclical their business is.
I don't see any point selling when they're at or near the bottom of the cycle and they don't look in imminent danger of going broke.
In fact I wonder if the recent buying interest isn't people calling the bottom of the cycle? There doesn't seem to have been huge volume though. |

Yes filipe - certainly some buying interest as I could easily sell 300k chunks today which is very unusual. Being listed makes absolutely no sense at the current mcap and the Group don't use the capital markets. It does however help within credibility when bidding and I understand mgt are looking to reduce Plc costs going forward. Patience as always with these sort of stocks! |
AUK + 25% again, today. Summat must be going on there.... 2.195p been paid for £small.
Thanks for your comments, NC. Somewhat my own thoughts also, except I've had a view they would simply go private at a decent price for shareholders.
I'd much rather they made for a big success of the business and in that way returned to past higher levels.

Yes, I keep buying small quantities each month including today as I believe over time lots of small long term (historic) holders will capitulate and the valuation may then pick up assuming mgt show that business is stable.At sub £3m mcap there is lots of value here for the patient investor. |

Yes the management changes are necessary and I’m also looking forward to a profit and with any luck they can repeat or add to that in 2019 if we’re still around. |

I must admit i'm tempted to buy some more at this price but not sure.
I'd be disappointed to see these taken out cheaply at the bottom of the cycle tbh so i'm not sure i'm in favour of corporate action.
Whatever, i'm certainly not selling at 1.5p unless it looks like they're actually going bust. |
