Plus always a good sign when a previous employee returns, and picked up great experience at Spotify and Sony in the meantime.Shaun Wilson, formerly of Spotify and Sony Entertainment, joins as Vice President of UK Sales. Shaun is returning to Audioboom, where he previously held the role of UK Head of Sales.

Looks like they're capitalising on progress. From memory I think this is the second employee from Sirius to come over to BOOM. I have confidence the BOD know what they're doing to push the company forward. Currently very undervalued IMO

It looks 15 is a lucky number for BOOM , January's trading update was also issued on the 15th as was last month's podcast rankers.

In January 2024 the shares touched £3.50 , with so much bullish news this year the price has remained subdued.The share price will take off once we get Q1 trading update on the 15th of this month.

I expect Q1 to be a new record or very close to the previous record set in Q2 2022.

Audioboom Achieves Record Top 100 Podcasts

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce a record number of Top 100 podcasts in the latest Triton Digital industry ranker.

The company published 14 of the Top 100 shows in the US in December 2023.

Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast , which joined the Audioboom Creator Network in Q4 2023, was a new entry on the ranker at 22.

Casefile , The Tim Dillon Show, Two Hot Takes, True Crime Obsessed and The Broski Report also appeared in the podcast ranker based on audience size.

Audioboom remains the fifth largest publisher on the ranker and has made significant strides over the past 12 months. Audioboom's weekly audience reach of 5.1 million listeners currently sits 1.8 million behind second-placed Wondery - in December 2022 that gap to second place was 3.1 million listeners.

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce it achieved record audience reach in January 2024 through the continued growth of its podcast network.

In January, podcasts on the Audioboom Creator Network were downloaded by more than 38.6 million unique listeners worldwide, a new monthly record and more than 9% up on Q4 2023's monthly average (34.4 million).

Audioboom's audience growth follows the successful launch of new podcasts in the Audioboom Creator Network including Matt & Shane's Secret Podcast and The Why Files, which debuted in the latest Triton Digital podcast ranker at number 76, along with Audioboom Studios production National Park After Dark which debuted at 92.

The Company will continue to bring new top tier podcasts with strong audiences to the platform in 2024.

In the US, Audioboom remains the fifth largest podcast publisher on the Triton Digital ranker - now just 100k listeners behind American radio giant Audacy. We continue to grow faster than our competitors - the Company is now 1.5 million weekly listeners behind third place Wondery. In the January 2023 ranker the gap to third place was 2.5 million.

Audioboom Climbs Global Podcast Rankers and Captures Market Share

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce it boosted its position on the latest podcast industry rankers and has captured significant US market share.

Audioboom climbed to 4th position on the February 2024 Triton Digital podcast ranker for the US - the world's largest podcast market. The ranker - based on unique audience - saw the Company overtake radio giant Audacy to become the fourth largest podcast publisher operating in the country.

Audioboom continues to grow its market share at speed in the US. Triton's weekly download ranker shows that the Company's market share expanded by 15% over the past year, with the Audioboom Creator Network now responsible for 9% of downloads in the ranker (up from 7.8% in February 2023).

Audioboom also climbed to 4th position in the latest Triton Digital Australian ranker - overtaking SiriusXM and becoming the largest international publisher in the region. Casefile - a true crime podcast that is part of the Audioboom Creator Network - regained the number 1 spot on the Top Podcasts chart.

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the leading global podcast company, is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its creator network through new exclusive partnerships with top tier podcasts including Pretty X Unfiltered, BDA with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Soder, Omnibus, Do We Know Them?, and George Conway Explains It All To Sarah Longwell.

These shows are expected to contribute more than 4 million downloads per month to the Audioboom Creator Network.

The new content partnerships will leverage the full suite of tools available to creators on Audioboom's platform including AdRip (for inventory creation), Showcase (the Company's ad-tech driven marketplace), premium advertising sales, and automated distribution and marketing services.

Indeed that's the message the company has been sending this year , they are doing a lot better than the general markets.

All we need is confirmation via the trading update this month and then the share price rise will to £10 plus this year like it did in 2021.

Re yesterday’s post; the google podcasts / youtube switch was announced back in September 2023, and so will have been planned for; (BTW, the opening line of the announcement was “We’re living in the golden age of podcasts”...)

Indeed, the recent RNS’s of 6 March 2024 and 28 March 2024 – re ‘extended’ and ‘new’ partnerships – both referenced ‘monetisation’ via ‘youtube’.

Also in September 2023 was the announcement from Apple to cease the auto-downloading of back-catalogue episodes. Although this was expected to decrease download numbers by “10%", the difference between Q4 2023 and Q4 2022 figures for BOOM was 0.8m, so less than 1%.

Just after the google / apple developments, BOOM announced (15 November 2023) the launch of AdVet; “The tool enables creators to accept ad campaigns with one-click, and receive bookings immediately...ultimately leading to stronger campaign performance and increased revenue opportunity for Audioboom and our creators”.

BOOM seem to be coping okay, and the recent extended and new partnerships, coupled with them climbing the global podcast rankings, indicate that they might just be doing better than okay.

With so much positive data coming from the company so far in 2024 , there's a very strong chance that Q1 could actually be well ahead of expectations.

During 2021 the company was also exceeding quarterly numbers, we all know what happened to the share price.

Same could again this year.
