Posted at 11/11/2021 09:25 by davemarn Wow the chart in Atlas is horrendous?Timely reminder Angus Energy 0.90p Positives • Equipment should be arriving on site Nov 21 – Feb 22 proving this isn’t hot air! • Permitting and Approvals expected early December 2021 • First time in 2 years a Project is about to become a reality early 2022 • Huge rise in Gas Prices (300-400%): 51% stake in onshore Saltfleeby Gas Asset • 52% recent upgrade to NPV10 from a revised CPR of Gas Asset now £25.5m (£9m market cap) • £12m fully funded for Saltfleeby • Sidetrack to Gas Project Planning Permission in place to try and double output • £1.4m Convertible Loan Note holdings extended deadline to April 2023 for final payment! • 2x Director Buys of 1m each mid 2021 • £8m potential funding with Aleph and Associates for a valid Geothermal play • 165m Warrants of £2.1m at 1.36p average potentially available • 26m Employee Options at 1.5p but fully vesting at 2p too Negatives • A group of Locals persistently fester on UK Share Forums to stop any buying momentum, the success in market cap makes it harder to stop any of their projects dead in its tracks! • A substantial undercurrent set of Short Sellers who seem to be betting against delivery and pre-gas price rally; now hurting and desperate to close out their positions – towards First Gas Q1-Q2 2022. Their short positions could create a dramatic squeeze to 2p alone IMO. • Legacy Oil Assets and failed projects knocked share price and confidence of Long Term Holders • Geothermal Progress Seems Slow • Delays seem to bother some impatient traders but Aleph have stumped £12m loan! Share Price Predictions? • Harmonics showing 2-3.5p target? • Management believes 3.5p per share is Fair Value vs. 0.90p share price GLA WTFDIK DYOR |
Posted at 01/11/2021 17:50 by meltwood Where was Bob Diamond when this company floated back in 2013 at around £9 per share- banging the drum and telling everybody it was a share for the long term investor. Now worth around 13p and about to be delisted from the Stock Exchange. How do people like him get away with it. We should have seen the light with his infamous time at Barclays. |
Posted at 23/11/2020 17:40 by jpuff Just come across these after a long time. Can anyone tell me what the 0.4 price currency is? Pence, dollars, Euro? TIA |
Posted at 06/8/2019 12:21 by king_doms I'm actually no longer a shareholder of atlas mara, since mid last year. In terms of potential, I agree, a fabulous company. But until income to shareholders (primarily through a dividend) is prioritised then I do not expect much positive movement for the company. It's actually extremely sad, considering asset wise, with the potentially excellent growth in pan Africa, this company has positioned itself to take advantage of the growth in various regions. Just pay a dividend (particularly it's stakeUBN) and there should be a considerable increase in share price |
Posted at 02/8/2019 09:04 by gilgil13 Yes, compared to the assets it has and their externally validated values (e.g. UBN's mkt cap, Botswana mkt cap, EGH mkt cap) then this is really cheap. I think there are two main problems:1. Lack of demand at the moment to invest in Africa, so not many buyers for this, but also currency values are having a steadily negative impact on the assets of ATMA 2. ATMA's investor relations is dire - cannot find any broker research, they don't appear to make any effort to connect with anyone in UK (despite UK listing as pointed out) and their press coverage is weak. So it's unlikely anyone is going to come across them, particularly PIs or small funds in UK which at this market cap is presumably where they should be looking for investors. First one will change with time, second one is an internal issue and we need to put pressure on them. kojo.dufu@atlasmara. |
Posted at 31/7/2019 11:29 by king_doms It's an excellent company in terms of assets, however, imho, the management is significantly overpaid, hence the extreme drop in share price. A smarter plan would be to reduce the management salaries, therefore greater net income and a UBN dividend directly to atlas mara shareholders |
Posted at 29/7/2019 21:39 by boonkoh Why is this share listed on the LSE but quoted in usd? Would be tempted to buy some into my SIPP except AJ Bell want to charge 0.5%-1% fx charge each way of the trade. |
Posted at 12/10/2018 08:50 by gilgil13 Hi,Does anyone have an email address for investor relations at ATMA? Thanks, |
Posted at 01/12/2016 09:57 by vacendak ATMA share price is not doing well at all, and no good news seems to be in sight. If it becomes a success story later, it might be picked by one of the EM investment trusts I am invested in. Not going for direct holding on that one after all. |
