"Read this and you'll understand why a huge slug of my ATYM profits has gone into silver mining shares (and gold...)...."In other words, " trying to make myself feel better for selling out too early"Copper still on the charge and results to come, no silly share price hike, a nice gentle upward trend. We will break £2 this week and realistically I'd say £2.10 or 7p old money

Mr. O,

be careful with these comment, Eric may moderate you, however he likes ramping to the knots, so he may like it actually!

CAML chatter : it is up to Trafigura / Orion and Chinese. Interestingly our hedge fund shareholder is in both companies. Would be transformational for both.

Can't see it myself - we're not exactly a simple company to reverse into.

CAML ... Think their RNS said looking at copper acquisition. But we are now bigger than CAML. The risk is we are sitting on refined ore = cash. Loads of resources and no debt. Therefore easy for a smaller company with right bankers to structure a deal where we effectively buy ourselves.

Where is Langostino ? What are his views of stock? He was quite negative at 115p . Has his view changed at 190p ?

VISH65. My opinion, for what it`s worth, is that they will make developing Touro their main priority. Touro initially only needs surface mining which is cheaper and quicker to get to production.

The other RioTinto deposits do, as you say, require drilling and pumping out which is money and time consuming. They may, of course, do some work on these but knowing how AL works I feel he prefer to get Touro up and running which would have a greater impact on the worth of the company in a shorter time.I think the local authorities would encourage him in this also.

Que sera ,sera.

Pausing for breath. US Labour day holiday today. See is speculation that the Euro has overshot and will come down significantly against a rising Dollar. All helps.

Nice buy very near to the full bid.

Hopefully it will at least tighten the spread shortly and who knows we might even get a tick up.

PROYECTO TOURO project is purely design to milk more money out of the pot by dilution IMHO,
all shareholders should write to Al and request an immediate stop to that project, we don't need that till at least another 2-3 years once the stability and cash flow stable and without interruption,
I am going to bet you anything that in a couple of months they are going to have this grand plan for PROYECTO TOURO project as an excuse to draw some money out, that would be a big big mistake

I am a long time supporter of this company from Harry's time and still in touch with him actively and that is what Harry think too, PROYECTO TOURO should come to stop for now.

the value here should purely be focus on production or expansion of CURRENT plant, rather than exploration, we have enough asset and till ground is shaky we should not invest a penny of the profit on anything else but only modernising the current plant with the vision of future expansion to increase the production.

the maths is simple and anyone who understand risk/reward ratio here know that is what we should be focusing on

One thing that's not mentioned often is the development of San Antonina , San Dionisio , Futon sur and the like which we know will need draining and underground mining methods to develop. We know to expect complex ore but at a (hopefully) higher copper grade. The further extension to the mine life with good drilling results and further investment needed in the mine is bound to attract mining corporations with deep pockets.

BUT we already have owners with deep pockets. It begs the question if existing holders were prepared to surrender shares then where else can they get a better return on their money ?

Is this really about Cerro Colorado and Touro or what lies deeper underground at PRT ?

Whichever, certainly exciting times ahead,

Don't usually mention my holdings here, but delighted to have hit a milestone of being up 50% on ATYM on a significant stake.
