Yet another confirmation that the stock is undervalued. Bet the share price doesn't go up though. I feel like Alice in Wonderland such is the disconnect between the actual share price and what it should be.

charmer...it's very simple...

I'm not bragging...I'm reporting the buys to show that I back up my positivity with actual cash...

And given that you are doubting my veracity, you can check that my posts are timed BEFORE the bargains are reported...

and no I don't have L2...

If everyone followed my buys we might not be in this mess. Mr 5k can only keep doing what he does because there's no follow-through so he can keep selling when the market is thin or the price is weak...

Cheers

Guys. There are too many legacy issues that need to be resolved.....then, there maybe more interest!RP. Why do you feel the need to keep telling us when you buy?The more I read your posts the less I believe.

Oh dear . . . So the 5k seller is now the 6k seller and it's been me all along or I'm in cahoots with the 5k seller who is now the 6k seller . . . You really are desperate to pin the blame on someone aren't you . . . For the record I have never shorted a share in my life and I don't hold EMED shares . . . Just accept there is more supply than demand ATM . . .

reba,

There is no justification in it. The share price is on the ropes and taking a beating, but why? The Company have got it right. It is almost as if there is no relationship between the two. One is advancing the other is retreating. Crazy but true

There is now 2k difference selling and buying and the price drops 3p where is the justification in that

rp the stock and sales of concentrate ATYM is inconsistent and despite best efforts cannot be reconciled on a short term basis which is what some pi's are trying to do it seems.

We have 3 off-takers and it's therefore transported by different ships. It's paid for on a provisional basis when it's loaded by the issue of a Bill of Loading.
Payment is finalised then on receipt by the purchaser when the cargo has been validated. A ship arrived just after the closure of Q1 figures I believe and hence the high stock at that time.

If we are shipping 200,000 tonnes of concentrate it's perfectly reasonable to see around 18,000 tonnes or even more not loaded and not paid for.

The stock of concentrate cannot be measured from site inventories alone and it certainly has nothing to do with the Astor position. ATYM doesn't need to address the Astor situation in such a naive way.

AIMHO and I hope this helps.

As soon as you posted that comment Mr5k sld 6,000 at 113 when the Bid was 116 for 5,000!!!

I know because I had been checking it regularly...

I bought 5000 at 117.98...there were no other sales and then this blatant manipulation trade happens again!

Why do you wait days to post and then unfailingly post something negative...

Sooooo boring!

It was smallholding's post not mine...

And please tell us the technical basis for your statement "the chart is pointing down"...

Of course it is for you, because anyone reading your posts would conclude that you are an ultra bear in this stock...

If you're not shorting it and not selling it pray share your investment position here...

There is no 11p dividend here and the Company is currently evaluating different sources of financing. . . . The chart indicates a downtrend still despite all your "positivity" . . .

smallholding later posted this:

"I compared Atalaya with Central Asia Metals last month, it got worse in June

Atalaya April 2017 – 371 trades (value traded £123m)
CAML April 2017 – 2086 trades (value traded £464m)

Atalaya May 2017 – 312 trades (value traded £92m)
CAML May 2017 – 1903 trades (value traded £386m)

Atalaya June 2017 – 251 trades (value traded £78m)
CAML June 2017 – 1950 trades (value traded £590m)

In June CAML had almost 8 times the trades of Atalaya and 7.5 times the value traded

CAML
Market cap £237m
Shares in issue 111m
Total assets (Dec 16) £112m
Revenue (Dec 16) £49m
Profit (Dec 16) £19.46m

ATYM
Market cap £136m
Shares in issue 116m
Total assets (Dec 16) £256m
Revenue (Dec 16) £80m
Profit (Dec 16) £9.86m

There is one major difference between the two companies, CAML paid a 13.5p a share dividend in 2016

Interestingly CAML paid their maiden dividend in 2013 of 11p a share when they made £30m profit

How much profit will Atalaya make this year?

Even the most cynical can’t believe our share price would be £1.17 if we were paying an 11p dividend."

Aye waterloo but in that quarterly report ATYM said the strike didn't affect the port they export through...

I'm of the view that they held back selling because the achieved copper price was so much worse than the market average (I think it was $2.48 vs $2.64 from memory...)

Re the last part of 7697 above...smallholding has posted today as below:

"Total Cu inventories held at metal exchanges (USA, Europe & Asia)

March 30 – 733,827 tonnes
April 25 – 642,258 tonnes
May 30 – 652,467 tonnes
June 27 – 581,405 tonnes

It is clear from these figures that globally declared inventories are falling and if that trend continues it bodes well for the copper price, at least in the short term."

Not onsite but in stockpile at port (was a go slow strike if I recall) and presumably pre sale. That would explain it
