MarkThere's no way on earth Traf will sell this mine to ATYM, unless it's a exorbitant price. Aguas Tenidas lies a few miles up the road from PRT, speaking to Ron Cuneen a few years back he told me this"You are correct in saying there is significant silver at PRT, particularly at San Antonio (and San Dionisio) poly metallic deposits and that San Antonio has similar grades to Aguas Tenidas. The San Antonio and San Dionisio deposits contain significant metal contents (Cu, Pb, Zn, Au, and Ag) with the economics yet to be determined"Aguas Tenidas produces 1m oz of Silver from 2mtpa. San Antonio and San Dionisio lie within PRT, but will need vast amounts of capital to bring into production.

Have the traders amongst you bought your trading shares back yet? I think yesterday was the day if you were quick for sub 130p. Not an unexpected move up today, the share price dropped on relatively few trades, if the idea, by mm’s, was collect some shares on the cheap, it makes sense that they weren’t going to hand them back for the same price. Flushed a few out, onwards and upwards now hopefully.

After the stunt we pulled with Astor my guess is any deal will be with money up front, and a masheen to make sure the bills aren't fake.

SBT/VISH...and remember there is a risk premium in Kaz too...

I'm currently computing ATYM from various metrics on a forward P/E of only 2.4 times...

Presentation fascinating. AL doesn't say he's not going to pay dividends, he says the time to pay them is when copper prices are high...

He wants to get into lead-zinc and gold while entry costs are low and do an ATYM.

Looking at prospects he would be daft to buy someone like OXUS for example, because there would likely be a premium.

I mentioned this morning that the Iberian Pyrite Belt makes sense and here is an interesting company that is developing projects right down it, some for sale to other companies (see quote below):

hxxp://www.avrupaminerals.com/corporate/

"Avrupa's aim is to create shareholder value through the development of a project portfolio to joint venture or sale to larger mining companies."

And then of course there is Ireland...

If he's looking at Gold then it parallels my own thinking. I believe it is only a matter of time before the Chinese speculators hit Gold, but I actually think silver will come first because of its greater industrial applications. Hence my big exposure to FRES, HOC and MARL...

Silver is holding up better than gold. The range of multiples historically has been 45/85 times and currently the Gold price is 70 times the silver price...

AIMHO as usual...

It does upside the risk as much as the reward but they have shown they know how to do it. I can live with a delayed but bigger divi if they grow the value for shareholders along the way. Won't suit all but it wouldn't be done unless Traf et al are not fully on-board.

Well there you have it no Dividends for awhile but expansion into Lead, Zinc or Gold if the Shareholders agree. Dividends when the time is right according to AL

SBT - i'm sure in part its because they have a cash buffer which we do not yet have . For potential investors the $30m helps to mitigate risk from operational issues and yet allow CAML to still function while any problems (eg legal/ reg's/ strikes) are sorted. We are not there yet and still paying back our capex liabilities. So the risks are still high. However at the rate we're going this should diminish quickly and we get a re-rate accordingly as the balance sheet strengthens

As a valuation comparison I has a very, very quick glance at CAML as there are similarities. They produce copper, via tailings, from a single mine in Kaz. They are much lower cost then ATYM but they produce only about 1/4 of the copper pa. They have zero debt and have $30m cash in the bank. They are paying a divi. Their total resources are much below ATYM.

They also have some projects that they are looking to progress. None of them have the scale or grades of Rio Tinto. I hope AL is looking at something better.....

All of this gives them a P/E of 11 as opposed to our forward P/E of 3! Surely we must close this when the Q4 numbers are released.

Anyone more familiar with CAML (which I thought looked good) please correct me and/or let me know why the large valuation gap.

It os astonishing that people still want to get out for a small profit or, worse still bale out at a loss when there is such PHENOMENAL potential in this share...

Let me repeat...at $2.66, we are throwing off net cash at $234,000 dollars a day!!!!!!

That's $85.3 million a year from a share with a MCap of only $200 million...

That's a CASH multiple of only 2.4 times...

And by now virtually no debt....

C'mon suckers...!

AIMHO as usual...

Bon dia amigos. Just got back from a long weekend in Barca where I saw something almost as impressive as our mine viz the Sagrada Familia. There was also some football match on.

Anyway now caught up on the posts (I refuse to use technology abroad in case it ruins my holiday) and it's almost like seeing old friends again. Particularly pleased to see the posts on further acquisitions - presumably there is no reason why one or more of our main shareholders couldn't finance any initial investment costs with a loan at just below commercial rates. Certainly I would not be happy with a placing, as opposed to a rights issue, at least not short term.

Also liked the bit about Alberto looking at a move onto the main market in the future.

Could be a very interesting ride.

PS time to research good and very expensive Rioja methinks.

Meanwhile, now one of the day's biggest risers...virtually all buys...

Could this be the third leg of the rise that takes us towards 200...?
