At over 30 X earnings 5 years ago there was bullish unanimity from brokers.

Multiple at Friday's close on 2022 earnings once the £1,5 billion in cash was netted off was ...

wait for it .... 11.5x

Brokers universally positive at over 30x and cautious at under 12 X.

Do your own thinking imv.

£19.50 now looks way too cautious given the initial reaction.

IMV we may be looking at a repeat of June when Primark UK stores reopened.

Look at the ABF chart from this year, the share price began rising nicely approx

4 weeks before the shops reopening.

Also pretty sure this is the last national lockdown for England.

Tucked a few away..

Wales coming out of lockdown today will get those fundmanagers licking their lips over ABF.

Less than £1.30 away from my late December £18.50 target price.

I'm upgrading to £18.75 before 31 December.

(this assumes wider UKX near current levels).

With English lockdown and closing of Primark for a month. Makes sense not to pay a dividend.
