Shops to be allowed to stay open till 10pm is going to be helpful here one feels.

They are going to be mobbed.

Motoring now - back into small profit in my isa - yippee!
Not totally sure what I originally paid for my shares as I mostly bed and isa'd.
Anyways a lot more to come imo - so much blood on the high street - a real shame but regretably only the fittest survive.

Fashion retailers that have survived the COVID-19 crisis are expected to benefit from pent-up demand as consumers will appreciate the immediacy, social interaction and gratification of high street shopping.

They will have more chance to win market share over time, according to Shore Capital, as many competitors will have succumbed to the shift of online shopping and lockdown restrictions.

Physical retailers such as Marks & Spencer (LON:MKS), Next (LON:NXT) and Associated British Foods’ (LON:ABF) Primark will experience “a much-needed boost”, the broker said.

We have taken the majority of those at risk our of the firing line by vaccination. We are well on track to having the majority of people inoculated in the next few weeks and the infection rates are falling rapidly.

spoole5, the shops and restaurants will be open in March or April. IMHO

Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he is "optimistic" people will be able to have summer holidays this year - but it depends on certain things going well.

He said he did not want to give "concrete" dates for such trips but would set out more details "about the way ahead" on 22 February.

The success of the vaccine rollout and level of Covid cases would be factors taken into consideration, he added.
