As a very long suffering shareholder, I would say the future is very bleak. Having recently sold(given away??) the last active part of the group,and assets transfered to settle long term pension costs. It would seem the only thing left is the SE share quote. Other than use as a shell company, what else is there??. W |
Auditor has resigned due to "disagreement over fees". Year End has now been extended to an 18 month period. Next results, which will cover recent asset sales, deferred to at least March 2021 I guess. |

Despite its small size, ASBE is fully-listed. As such it would not have a nomad, as required for AIM-listed companies.
The procedure would be for either the LSE to request a comment or for the directors to themselves to contemplate whether one is necessary.

Answer: the jobber: it's only pocket money for Winterflood.
Of more concern is the lack of an immediate buyer, given that this was a useful percentage stake.
Of equal concern is that the seller does not seemingly appear in ASBE's accounts as a declared holder.
Although it could be hidden within the string of nominee declarations, the beneficial owner should have declared that stake. Naughty, naughty ! |

Anyone see the irony in preparing the accounts on the going concern basis?
"The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis. There have been no changes to accounting policies in the 6 month period to 30 September 2017. Based on the group's budgets and cash forecasts, the Board considers that the group has sufficient resources to meet all necessary outgoings and to enable it to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future."
