company reorganising its articles and also has a website at last. Could they be getting their house in order ahead of a deal?

Pension fund deficit now £1.4m, and £1.2m further liability on Preference shares & accrued dividiends - the latter shown in the B/S at zero because the company takes the view that it has no prospect of ever paying them off. But they remain a liability. So the cash position - which I see has been quoted before also deducting £651,000 of other (cash) liabilities isn't actually as favourable as it might be represnted. Unless the company can sort out botht e Pref shares and the Pension Fund, there's nothing there.

What aboutthe pref shares in issue, two types, i have the misfortune ? of holding a few. I think the directors may hold some . No divs paid for years , and unsaleable/no quote.

By the time you buy and sell from yesterday price, you will be left with doubling your money. Still good, but not as good as it looks.

I hope you managed to get some double6. Pitty my mum can not since she is away on holiday till Sunday.

mr_chaps the same thing happened to ARA last week...

It was trading at 9p the next morning it opened at 4.5p & then closed at 10p & then they announced bids & currently sits at 16p....

Its a crooked market out there but you can make a packet if you get into em at the right price which most don't myself included.

Be lucky to all

Surely they're going to have to put out an RNS to keep shareholders up to date with whats happening. If not this looks like a case of insider trading if news comes out a few days after a rise like this.
