11/3/2004 16:15 | no f'ing way I stay in here and get burnt for the fourth time today. | responsible lad
11/3/2004 15:53 | either I will make bucket loads tomorrow or get suspended. Both outcomes are nice for me, since if they make money for me I am quids in and if they get suspended or fall back at all I can knock trading on the head for the year. | responsible lad
11/3/2004 15:15 | You can sell online but you cannot buy online. | responsible lad
11/3/2004 15:09 | This one is going to at least £3, the sell just then did not effect the price. | responsible lad
11/3/2004 14:51 | Thanks for your help. | double6
11/3/2004 14:45 | double6 - There's a big legal mess re pension liabilities and they were also trying to sell off part of the business to mgmt for less than the book value, from what I remember, when I looked at it. I'm surprised that long suffering shareholders aren't dumping into the rise but perhaps they think it's insiders buying. PMSL! Rgds dell IMO DYOR etc. P.S. Peter Gyllenhammar used to hold these as an asset play but ditched them. Admittedly he doesn't get them all right but I think this is a can of worms until there is considerable clarification. | dell314
11/3/2004 14:35 | dell - ages since we spoke. Strong balance sheet ? Your views are VERY welcome.... | double6

05/3/2004 18:15 | This tiny cap seems to have cash well in excess of its share price, in fact it appears to be little more than a cash shell with little or no trading left. Looks highly attractive to me, the sort of company that someone is bound to come along and make something out of at some point. Looks like it might be interesting. However there is a gigantic spread of some 15p on an offer price of 60p. Apart from the spread though, does anybody see any reason why it might not be a great punt? Personally I can't see much wrong, it looks all upside to me but maybe someone knows different? I'm going in unless somebody here can convince me aganst it. | anhar
31/12/2003 09:59 | It's a good time of the year to bring out bad news. I think we should be told the approximate size of the pension black hole. Are these shares worthless? I wonder.............. Lord C. | lord c.
04/11/2003 13:53 | There may be something going on here, the market makers are apparently interested in buying shares and with a market cap. of £500,000 it won't take much to push them up. | spooky

29/7/2003 14:34 | This company is seriously bad news. Who wants to reverse into a pensions nightmare and past history with associated can of worms. Have these shares any value at all? No wonder the spread is so wide and the nms so small,if I were a mm I wouldn't want to be holding stock. Lord C. ps nice to see you o/t | lord c.
19/1/2003 18:23 | Lord c, Fancy seeing you here...lol! | addict
12/11/2002 08:52 | A VERY interesting announcement today. The chairman is stepping down, the business is, subject to shareholders approval, to be sold to directors which include the chairman(the other, higher offer fell through). Can someone please tell me what will be left in the quoted vehicle after the proceeds of the mbo (less substantial fees) are received? Will the proceeds all be swallowed up by the huge pensions deficit? What/who is going to fund the slightly smaller black hole which might remain? Please will someone cleverer than me explain these things. What is the real value of their shares today? Have they any value at all? I wonder. | lord c. |
