amaretto you sound flustered or out of cash, this market is for the big boys, buy when there’s blood on the floors, ignore short term views. If you can’t take the heat best keep out of the kitchen. Seek help too, you certainly are getting confused and bitter

Interest rate rise means higher mortgages on top of the increases to the cost of living we have already seen. The last thing people will look to do is increase their spending on clothes. Unless it's vinted

Say whatever to make yourself feel better wig. Its not my fault you bought in and lost 30% in a day lmao. Maybe next time do your own research? Also don't follow blindly what is posted on here. Its a free forum people will post whatever they want. If you want investment advice maybe pay for it and don't be a cheapskate :)

The markets/analysts wanted 1% hike from the fed, and a little bit of recession will actually stop wage inflation.

As for a buy in here, for a trade, this level is significantly lower than most expected, plus after the shock of the interest rate news we could see a general market bounce.

So buy later today or tomorrow.

None of this retail can do any good until inflation drops out of the picture. Just dont look at your portfolio for 12 months. UK is fxcked anyway, brexit fiasco, boris, covid, parabolic taxes, OMFG.

The March 2020 pandemic low was around 837/883p area but quickly recovered as consumers stuck in lockdown started buying, now the scenario is completely different, they are free but not spending due to price shocks everywhere. Difficult to value this one now but it will survive and probably be taken over by a US predator for small change but I doubt ones like BOO will make out to the other side.

Returns turning out to be a real problem for these businesses, maybe they'll start moving to opening real stores when peole go and try stuff on before they buy, lol

The days of non essential goods is over for a couple of years, the best stocks to invest in are essential services, energy, water and food

Jw - there are posters who provide useful info on these chat boards.. but someone who says asos is "certainly good value" one day, and then changes it to "still expensive" a cpl of days later, probably isn't among them (especially when they can't admit they are wrong)... bye bye :)
