ANOTHER DAY & ANOTHER DOWNGRADE FOR ASOS PLC SHARES
====================================================

In a research note issued today, retail analysts at U.S. investment bank, JP Morgan Chase have downgraded shares in fashion retailers ASOS PLC and Boohoo PLC to a “weak hold” citing falling consumer spending and management deficiencies within the businesses.

Of course margins will improve as inflation is coming down. The FED and the BoE are raising interest rates to actually reduce inflation. They have to.

Why should margins Automatically improve, yes a time to buy, but not now, just starting a recession, sub 300p worth a gamble in my view

Revenue is not profit, profit guidance of between £20 and £60m, margins are wafer think, any drop in revenue and it turns loss making, not sure some peeps should be trading, I see it's struggling today, wonder why on such a high pe.

Working from home - which was rare before - is now becoming a routine. Meaning the likes of Asos - one of the biggest - will prosper regardless. I am still a believer of "buy and hold".

Exactly. Just buy and forget. Due to the very limited number of shares issued (only 99M) the share price is very sensitive in both directions - upwards and downwards. So we can see it pretty quickly regaining lost ground within a week or two.

This guy has chased boohoo all the way down from £3+
He was promoting this when it was way above £50…

“ just buy and forget about it “

His comment tells you all that he has badly screwed up here also .
Never catch a falling knife 🔪 bozo.

If you believe it will rocket then wait for a genuine up trend to re establish .
You don’t need to get in at the absolute bottom … though eventually you might as you have tried so many times ..

Fuji - discredited on here and boohoo .

Don't confuse turnover with profit, which is expected to be between 20-60m, so evident margins are being squeezed and I fully expect that low profit to turn negative soon.

If CPI is improving the FED won't raise agressively rates. This will put the shorts straight into the oven.

Shorts will be burning soon. Takeover on the cards. +850p on open and no exit for escape. Many will be trapped irreversibly for life. Longs can just relax and wait regardless.

Guess when is the best opportunity for consolidation in this sector ... When takover bids are the cheapest. NOW. ASC Market Cap is around 900 Million for a turnover of 3,900 Million. More than 4 times the Market Cap. £30 per share is still cheap if one considers the growth prospects within 10 year span. Everything recovers within an economic cycle. It has been like this for the last 40 years. So IMO, just buy and forget. We stand at 10 year low. NEXT rings a bell. With ASOS, it will dominate both, high street and online sectors.
