31/5/2022 18:28 | If the share price stays low or gets any lower, a bid would be likely. Always dangerous shorting, especially now it's at 4.7 EV/EBITDA and a clean balance sheet. When it was a p/e of 50+, yes. | velocytongo

25/5/2022 09:07 | Buoycat...I agree in theory, but historically the reverse seems to be evident. It's almost self perpetuating when a stock like this get's to such a high percentage of shorting. It gets past a certain point whereupon and every shorter gets on board. Then that subdues any rise because other investors see what is happening and bail out before an anticipated drop! | simon666
24/5/2022 22:30 | I don't see a huge relevance in the % of shares held by short sellers. After all 100% of the shares are held by people with long positions! Just because some are short doesn't mean the share price is going to fall. | buoycat
24/5/2022 20:14 | We have eight big short sellers totalling 7.31% of the shares. Marshall Wace increased to over 3% and clearly still making a killing like they've been doing for months. We either need a good CEO appointment soon or a takeover approach. In this climate it will probably be the former. I still cannot comprehend why of all stocks ASOS is being targeted so much, even more so than the inferior BOOHOO. Meanwhile, expect a small bounce back tomorrow, followed by a bigger fall the day after. | simon666
18/5/2022 19:19 | So guys n girls here is tonight’s top 100. Cine retain top spot . ASOS are closing in after an increase from those darlings at Marshall Wace . And it always pleases me to see Boohoo riding so high on the poo list in 4th place . | melegramforttongo
