Think you said that already. Very positive results imo and no surprises. The unjustified heavy drop will now reverse.

If these halve in value over the next twelve months we've done well.Too much competition, barrier for entry into this market is low.A clear sell for me.

ASOS FORWARD LOOKING STATEMENT - Outlook Poor

"With both demand for clothing and returns rate uncertainty related to the Omicron variant, these conditions are likely to remain for sometime.
The guidance for the year remains unchanged with revenue growth expected in the range of 10%-15% and adjusted Pre-Tax profits of between GBP110m-GBP140m"

This is very disappointing.

@bulltradept, there is this myth that retail investors are dim and professional investors are bright. if that's the case why were they all long AAA MBS in 2008/9. why were they all long tech stocks in 2001 .. why were they all long tulips. the only difference between us and them, is we manage our own money and they manage other peoples. most are no brighter than the average joe. so yes, when i hear lots of hedge funds are short, i know it's a crowded trade and likely to have little juice left. at £21 when i heard they were short, i loaded up. dyor 5k

I wasnt aware that every investing decision we make is supposed to be fruitful so I aim for around 70% success and not losing menial profits that one makes to accumulate on stocks that have some serious cause for concern Cornetto...But I shan't iterate any further hey!

I've just read some narrative of what is likely to be indicative in the earnings tomorrow...Much of its sales forecasts have already been significantly downgraded...

However, margins are undeniably being squeezed but continuing supply-chain disruption is unlikely so I'm taking a small interest as I think the market could well be pleasantly surprised and this relentless demise may well have spring to board off shortly...

However, I could also be incredibly wrong as its a difficult one to contemplate but you pays your way, you takes your chance!

"If the figs are good tomorrow I can see a mega short squeezeee"

Hence why it's best to wait as retail traders.

The rises recently have been in anticipation but its unlikely the trading statement will be that encouraging with all those concerning under-currents so consider buying the rumour selling the news folks!

The Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England are going to increase interest rates soon to choke off inflation and that will not help consumer spending.

Households will not be spending money on new clothes....... GUARANTEED

Rent + Mortgage payments will take priority.

2022 will be a tough year for EVERY HOUSEHOLD IN THE UK !!!
