Mr R , I am certainly aware it is ultimately us the many shareholders who will ultimately vote but for the moment and going forward I am happy to follow whatever happens with any Board decision at whatever time. They have brought us here from nothing so I am grateful for that. Let’s break 10,11.12and enjoy the journey Tony and the boys have brought us along on. Good luck. Regards, Mont

I’d like to see them build a monster here but if a bid came in q4 I can’t see how they can fight it unless EMR open their wallet as a white knight.

Odds say they need a partner pronto at Beutong as well.

Best case would be a rapidly financed bkm and a 20-40% stake of Beutong sold for up to 150m bucks. That would leave us in a great position. Cashed up until bkm starts production whilst also going through pea and bfs at Beutong.

So what, I am happy to wait a couple of years, plus copper WILL hit $4 sooner rather than later. I am confident the Board will not want a merge or a takeover , they want to build the company unlike the catastrophe that occurred after the disastrous Oxiana decision to merge ZIn. They will want too see this through and I am ok with that at the moment

It’ll take about 5 years to get to a billion unless copper hits 4bucks/lb

I’d tend to agree. They know what it takes to get to a $1bn mcap so why let someone else enjoy the spoils

They want to build BKM. Use cashflow to accelerate Beutong and othe KSK prospects. TM says $1bn. That has to be the low end of what they would accept

Ultimately it is us as shareholders that decide whether a 25p or 30p bid would be acceptable or not, and that includes JP Morgan. That said I believe the board would have a big say in this. If they recommended we accept such an offer then I think that would be the end of road. Would be interesting to know what the board’s view on this is.

BKM - BFS still by end Q3 or slipping into Q4?

That would be nice but 75-100% above broker targets are pretty rare. 25-30 would give a 25-50% premium. A bit more realistic.

I thought he said 14c/lb 12:50min in. Based on that 35-40p presently.

PB says we are trading at 3-4c a lb and deals have been going through at 10c/lb. I'm pretty sure we're going to see a bid post bfs. 25-30p on PB's metrics

There's a 100 page Arden note on copper and copper miners, out today. ARS is one of the companies featured (see p.69) - Arden have a price target of 24p.

Mr P - could it be supply tightening?

Does anyone have a link for the interview?

Thanks horneblower. Yes underground grades are usually higher than open pit, but the costs are also higher as you say.
