06/9/2018 09:35 | Lets hope they confirm everything is on track for the BFS release | charles clore
06/9/2018 09:25 | Ars interview coming. Time for Tony and Pete to show their class. | mr roper
06/9/2018 08:44 | Borrowed M&A comment on ARS, with thanks. Mr Roper. Moved to HZM. also very appropriate, as you all know. | haydock

06/9/2018 08:43 | I scanned a lot of Nevsun's Timok Pre-Feasibility Study (*) and the 27Mt at 3.3% cu tallies with their statements. Two points. Firstly they point out that this is a statement of the estimated size of the 'resource' rather than of the 'reserve' by which I think they mean that it exists but may not all be available to mine. Also, it's all 'probable' as opposed to 'proven'. Secondly, the copper containing ore starts 480 meters below surface. So, either they must shift half a kilometre of waste before hitting copper or it will be an underground mine. This obviously means it has a higher capital cost than if it were nearer the surface. Even so, it is a monster AND in a European country. (*) ( | horneblower
06/9/2018 08:11 | Come back 10p, come back.......Noooooooo | mrpiggy
06/9/2018 07:20 | From Pete on the CEO.CA board last night: "Interview with ARS coming tomorrow. Would be nice to hear a comment on BHP, NSU besides the bfs update of course" ++++++++++++++++++ | zho
06/9/2018 07:04 | hxxps://www.brisbane | mr roper
06/9/2018 06:58 | Montim, that’s the point. We (us and the bod) would want significantly more. The problem being that if a 25p bid came I can’t see the defences in place to fight it off. | mr roper
06/9/2018 04:47 | “Everyone loves copper and everyone wants to buy it” has been this year’s mining mantra. Today the ball started rolling. | uapatel
05/9/2018 23:36 | I am sure Tony and the boys would want more than 25p after taking their wages for so long in shares and options. Get another partner on board and shore up support and 35p will be distant memory in a couple of years. I have a feeling their are far more holders than we think that would hold on for far more than 25p. | monttim
05/9/2018 22:24 | I would as well Mr Roper, with my average at 3p :-)I would hope the share price would be substantially higher than 25p in a couple of years' time, when we're in production and copper prices are probably pushing $4. I'm quite happy to wait a couple of years, but if someone pounced in November say and took us out for 25p I wouldn't cry myself to sleep.Just my view, NAI etc | cyberbub
05/9/2018 22:16 | Cyber, and at the moment I don’t see a defence mechanism to fight off a bid. I,e if 25p was offered I’m pretty sure jpm would see that as a tremendous return... | mr roper
05/9/2018 22:14 | My sentiments exactly Mr Roper. While our assets aren't as big as Nevsun's (yet), Asiamet still seems undervalued IMO, and the time for a buyer to strike, if they're going to, will be this side of Xmas.NAI | cyberbub
05/9/2018 20:53 | 3-4 months after nevsun publish the feasibility study they’re gone. As a Rick Rule says, post feasibility is when the bids come thick and fast for decent assets. | mr roper
05/9/2018 20:35 | Lots of sells into the close. So mind boggling at times this game | pyglet
05/9/2018 17:24 | Also worth noting they had 8 interested parties... | shareideas1
05/9/2018 17:16 | zho, It's not outside the bounds of possibility but sounds extravagant to me. I'll investigate. | horneblower
05/9/2018 17:13 | Where will Lundin look next? | shareideas1
05/9/2018 17:08 | >>Surely, shome mishtake.>> Is it? Sorry if I've got that wrong but it's what the Nevsun presentation says on page 10, and it tallies with figures on page 12. | zho
05/9/2018 17:05 | 27Mt at 3.3% cu ? Surely, shome mishtake. Ed. | horneblower
05/9/2018 17:00 | cyberbub, >>But how much is inferred/indicated/m The Nevsun presentation says "Probable Mineral Reserve 27Mt at 3.3% cu" so that's 11 times as much copper as Beutong, at a higher grade, before upgrades to Beutong from this year's drilling. | zho
05/9/2018 16:53 | But how much is inferred/indicated/m | cyberbub
05/9/2018 16:10 | Crazy price with ARS under £95m for the whole caboodle! | charles clore |
